7-Day Change of Mind ‘No Questions Asked’ Refund Guarantee: Things don’t always work out. Our 7-day Change of Mind Guarantee is there to help. Bookings (except for cruise bookings, flights and deposit fee, if applicable, which are subject to the cancellation terms of the relevant supplier) may be cancelled with a full refund provided that cancellation occurs strictly within 7 days from the date of purchase and provided that the cancellation is made no less than 14 days prior to the check-in date. Excludes flight and service fee, if applicable.

• Cancellations outside of the 7-Day Change of Mind period will not be provided, except as required by Australian Consumer Law, your local law or as otherwise provided for in the Fine Print.

Flexible Cancellation: You can cancel your booking for credit up until 21 days prior to the original check-in date. This can be done via self-service in your ‘My Escapes’ account. Your credit will be valid for 12 months from the date of cancellation. Credits are not transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash. Excludes service fee, if applicable.

Please note this does not apply to flights booked with us. Flight fulfilment is provided by the airline(s) selected at the time of finalising the booking. For your air travel, you are bound by the terms and conditions and fare rules of the selected airline(s).

Valid for travel from 1 March 2025 until 30 September 2026 (bookings must be made before 30 June 2026).

Green Tax: A green tax of US$12 per person, per night applies to all guests and is not included in your package. Payable directly to the resort.

Compulsory Christmas Gala Dinner: For stays on 24 December, an additional surcharge of US$121 per adult (12+) applies for the compulsory Christmas Eve buffet dinner. Children and infants are free of charge. Payable directly to the resort.

Compulsory New Year’s Eve Gala Dinner: For stays on 31 December, an additional surcharge of US$227 per adult (12+) applies for the compulsory New Year’s Gala dinner. Children and infants are free of charge. Payable directly to the resort.

Roundtrip Domestic Flight Airport Transfers (Hoarafushi/Hanimadhoo/Khulhudhufushi)

• Domestic transfer is a flight followed by speedboat. Please see here for transfer timetables (subject to change).
• Should domestic scheduled transfers flights from Malé to Manafaru not be available, an overnight stay on Malé will be required at guests’ own expense.
• Travel time from Malé to JA Manafaru is approximately one hour, followed by a 10-minute speedboat ride (Hoarafushi to Manafaru), 40-minute speedboat ride (Hanimadhoo to Manafari) or 45-minute speedboat ride (Khulhudufushi to Manafaru). Please take travel time into consideration before booking international flights.
• Upon arrival at Velana International Airport, guests will be greeted by an Airport Guest Services Agent holding a ‘JA Manafaru’ paging board. They will be escorted to the passenger transfer lounge to await the onward scheduled flight into the atoll. Light refreshments will be provided.
• Roundtrip domestic transfers schedule timings may be subject to change depending on the operational processes and restrictions at Velana International Airport (MLE). The resort has no control and takes no liability for this third-party operation, nor the aircraft carriers’ policies or services and/or any schedule, delay or cancellation that impacts your onward travel.
• Domestic scheduled flight transfers run twice daily and transfers do not operate at night.
• Domestic scheduled flight transfers must be arranged with the property at least 15 days prior to arrival, and ideally before international flights are booked.
• Transfer costs are subject to change.
• Passengers are permitted one piece of baggage with a maximum weight of 20kg and one additional, smaller piece of luggage with a maximum weight of 5kg. Additional direct charges by the carrier may apply for luggage over the allowed weight limit. Heavy luggage may be offloaded and sent on the next available transfer. Please note this may not be on the same day of travel and the airline’s decision is final in relation to all flight movements.
• Infants are required to sit on a parent’s lap during the transfers.

Roundtrip Seaplane Airport Transfers

• Seaplane flights travel directly from Malé to JA Manafaru resort and take approximately 70 minutes. Please see here for transfer timetables (subject to change).
• Please note that the final departure time for seaplane transfers is 3pm, and guests must check-in to their flight by 2pm. Should guests miss this an overnight stay on Malé will be required at guests’ own expense.
• Guests must provide their international flight details to Reservations at least 14 days prior to check in to ensure transfers are confirmed.
• Passengers are permitted one piece of baggage with a maximum weight of 20kg and one additional, smaller piece of luggage with a maximum weight of 5kg. Additional direct charges by the carrier may apply for luggage over the allowed weight limit. Heavy luggage may be offloaded and sent on the next available transfer. Please note this may not be on the same day of travel and the airline’s decision is final in relation to all flight movements.
• Infants are required to sit on a parent’s lap during the transfers.
