7-Day Change of Mind ‘No Questions Asked’ Refund Guarantee: Things don’t always work out. Our 7-day Change of Mind Guarantee is there to help. Bookings (except for cruise bookings, flights and deposit fee, if applicable, which are subject to the cancellation terms of the relevant supplier) may be cancelled with a full refund provided that cancellation occurs strictly within 7 days from the date of purchase and provided that the cancellation is made no less than 14 days prior to the check-in date. Excludes flight and service fee, if applicable.

• Cancellations outside of the 7-Day Change of Mind period will not be provided, except as required by Australian Consumer Law, your local law or as otherwise provided for in the Fine Print.

Flexible Cancellation: You can cancel your booking until 21 days prior to the original check-in date, however the following fees will apply: $995 per adult (12+) for economy class bookings, $795 per child (2–11) for economy class bookings; $2,995 for adults and children (2+) for business class bookings. The remaining balance, after deduction of the applicable cancellation fees will be refunded to your original payment or credit.

Cancellation can be done via self-service in your ‘My Escapes’ account. If refunded as credit, your credit will be valid for 12 months from the date of cancellation. Credits are not transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash. Excludes service fee, if applicable.

Please note this does not apply to flights (outside of your Melbourne to Malé return flight) booked with us. Flight fulfilment is provided by the airline(s) selected at the time of finalising the booking. For your air travel, you are bound by the terms and conditions and fare rules of the selected airline(s).

Luxury Escapes Private Charter is operated by Maldivian and is subject to government and regulatory approvals.

Green Tax: Please note a US$12 Green Tax per person, per day applies and is not included in your package. Payable directly to the resort.

Roundtrip Domestic Transfers Fine Print:

• Includes: Roundtrip domestic flight transfers from Velana International Airport (MLE) to Ifuru Island Maldives on arrival, and from Ifuru Island Maldives back to Velana International Airport (MLE) on departure for included guests.
• For additional children, transfers must be purchased at an additional cost of US$175 per child, payable directly to the resort. Additional adults must purchase transfers at an additional cost of US$350 per adult, payable directly to the resort. Seaplane transfers are also available for an additional cost. Please contact the resort to arrange. Children under the age of two may travel free of charge while travelling with parents on their lap.
• There may be one stop during your transfer with a maximum wait of 45 minutes or layover times, please check with the resort when booking.
• You will be met at the airport for your transfer; there may be a wait depending on the time of your transfer due to scheduling.
• Guests are permitted 20kg checked luggage and 5kg cabin luggage only. Excess baggage will be charged at US$5.50 per kg, payable directly to the airline.
• Transfers on arrival operate three times daily from Velana International Airport (MLE) to Ifuru Island Maldives, and transfers on departure operate three times daily from Ifuru Island to Velana International Airport (MLE).
• Travel times will be provided during transfer confirmation. Please provide international flight details to the Ifuru Island Maldives team at least 7 days prior to your booking date to confirm your transfers.
• Transfer schedules and connecting flights are subject to change. Please contact the resort for details.
• Please note: Guests arriving on international flights after 11pm or departing before 8am will not be able to travel to or from Ifuru Island on the same day, as no domestic flights are scheduled during these hours. In such cases, guests are recommended an overnight stay in Malé or Hulhumalé. Please contact the resort directly for assistance in arranging this.
• Please note: The baggage allowance on your charter flight will be different to included baggage allowance on your transfer flight to the resort. Please be aware that luggage amounts exceeding 20kgs will incur an additional surcharge, payable directly to the airline.
