Hideaway Beach Resort & Spa is located on Dhonakulhi Island, an idyllic private island in the archipelago’s spectacular Haa Alifu Atoll. An included 60-minute domestic flight from Malé will take you from Velana International Airport (MLE) to Hanimaadhoo Domestic Airport (HAQ), where a complimentary speedboat transfer will whisk you to the resort. - Nightly buffet dinner is served at Matheefaru (7pm to 9.30pm) or a three-course dinner may be enjoyed at Meeru Bar & Grill (7pm to 10pm) or Sunset Pool Café (7pm to 10pm). Guests can also have a 50% discount for dinner (food only) at Oasis Restaurant, Bar & Lounge or Samsara Asian Fusion. Guests cannot use the discount if they have had a dinner at either Matheefaru, Meeru Bar & Grill or Sunset Pool Café. Children will dine from the kids’ menu only.

Bookings (except for cruise bookings, flights and deposit fee, if applicable, which are subject to the cancellation terms of the relevant supplier) may be cancelled with a full refund provided that cancellation occurs strictly within 7 days from the date of purchase and provided that the cancellation is made no less than 14 days prior to the check-in date. Excludes flight and service fee, if applicable.
- Cancellations outside of the 7-Day Change of Mind period will not be provided, except as required by Australian Consumer Law, your local law or as otherwise provided for in the Fine Print.
Flexible Cancellation: You can cancel your booking for credit up until 21 days prior to the original check-in date. This can be done via self-service in your ‘My Escapes’ account. Your credit will be valid for 12 months from the date of cancellation. Credits are not transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash. Excludes service fee, if applicable.

Compulsory New Year’s Gala Dinner: For stays on 31 December, an additional surcharge of US$450 per adult (12+) and US$225 per child (2–11) applies for the compulsory New Year’s Gala dinner. Payable directly to the resort.
Domestic Flight & Speedboat Transfers
- Please contact the resort directly to arrange included roundtrip domestic flights and speedboat transfers.
- Please provide flight details at least 14 days before arrival to ensure transfers are booked.
- From Hanimadhoo International Airport, it’s a 20-minute speedboat ride to Hideaway Beach Resort & Spa.
- Domestic flights are with Maldivian Airlines to Hanimadhoo International Airport and take just 50 minutes.
- The last transfer time from Malé to the resort is 3.30pm.
- The airline carriers reserve the right to charge US$3 per excess kilogram for any luggage weight over the agreed allowance.
- There is a 20-kilogram luggage allowance, plus five kilograms of hand luggage, for transfers.
- There is no luggage allowance for infants.
