Green Island Resort is hidden a serene 45-minute journey from Cairns, on its very own coral cay in the glittering Coral Sea. The only coral cay of its kind with a rainforest in the exquisite Great Barrier Marine Park, this secluded hideaway invites you to relax on the sun-kissed shores, discover the marine life below the translucent surface and take a walk through nature.

Scheduled 45-minute (each way) roundtrip catamaran transfers directly to Green Island Resort from Cairns are included in your package. Please contact the resort directly to organise. Please see the Fine Print for transfer times and details. Additional transfers are available depending on numbers and booking in advance. The Cairns Reef Fleet Terminal is located approximately a 15-minute drive from Cairns Airport (CNS). Transfers from Cairns Airport (CNS) to Cairns Reef Fleet Terminal are not included. Please plan accordingly.

To select dates post purchase, simply select ‘My Escapes’ under the ‘My Account’ tab and follow the prompts.

7-Day Change of Mind ‘No Questions Asked’ Refund Guarantee: Things don’t always work out. Our 7-day Change of Mind Guarantee is there to help. Bookings (except for Tour bookings and flights) may be cancelled with a full refund provided that cancellation occurs strictly within 7 days from the date of purchase and provided that the cancellation is made no less than 14 days prior to the check-in date.

Flexible Cancellation: You can cancel your booking for Luxury Escapes credit up until 21 days prior to the original check-in date. This can be done via self-service in your ‘My Escapes’ account. Your Luxury Escapes credit will be valid for 12 months from the date of cancellation. Credits are not transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.

Please note this does not apply to flights booked with Luxury Escapes. Flight fulfilment is provided by the airline(s) selected at the time of finalising the booking. For your air travel, you are bound by the terms and conditions and fare rules of the selected airline(s).

Date Changes: If you need to amend your booking, you can self-service unlimited date changes in your ‘My Escapes’ account up until 21 days before your original check-in date. If you can’t find a suitable date, or still need further assistance, please contact our 24/7 customer service team. Subject to availability and surcharges.

Please note:

• Green Island Resort reserves the right to amend package inclusions, where required, to adhere to current government restrictions. This may include services relating to room servicing, buffet breakfast and some activities. In the event a restriction has been applied to an inclusion, Green Island Resort will provide an alternative option of equal value. For further details, please contact the resort directly to discuss.
• Please note that the Great Barrier Reef cruise with Great Adventures Cruise boards at 11.15am for departure at 11.30am and returns to the resort at 4.25pm. Bookings must be made with resort reception upon arrival.
• The daily sunset drink is either beer or sparkling wine.
• Unused inclusions will be forfeited and are not transferrable or redeemable for cash.
• Dining Credit: The included credit must be used during your stay. Any unused credit will be forfeited and is not transferrable or redeemable for cash. Dining credit can be used for either lunch or dinner. No minimum number of guests is required. No minimum spend is required.
• Diving Discount: Minimum diving age in Queensland is 12+ and certain medical conditions may prohibit guests from participating. Guests 11 and under will not be permitted.
• Fish feeding will be hosted on select days of the week at varying times, and are subject to change.

Roundtrip Catamaran Transfers from Cairns Reef Fleet Terminal:

• From Cairns Reef Fleet Terminal to Green Island: Departs at 8.30am and 10.30am Please proceed to Great Adventures/Green Island Resort check-in counter for your boarding passes.
• From Green Island to Cairns Reef Fleet Terminal: Departs at 9.15am, 2.30pm and 4.30pm. Turnaround vessel time is subject to change.
• Transfer times are subject to change, refer here for the most up-to-date information.
• Transfers for all guests are valid only for one-time use on arrival and departure. Luggage is subject to a maximum weight of 23kg per guest. Luggage will be required to be repacked if over the maximum weight.
