Return transfers from Malé via seaplane are included in your package and only operate between 9am and 3pm, as seaplanes operate during daylight hours only. Guests unable to meet this schedule will need to spend the evening in Malé at own expense. Baggage allowance for passengers is 20kg checked luggage and 5kg hand luggage per person. Any excess baggage is chargeable at a cost of US$5 per kg, payable at the airport (subject to service charge and statutory GST). Guests must get in touch with the resort at least seven days prior to arrival to organise transfers.

“Finolhu is the complete package. Amazing villas, the best food anywhere, ever, flown over from Melbourne’s Victoria Markets by Emirates every few days. The chefs are amazing, preparing food as good as any restaurant you’ve ever been to. And the choices are next level. Kanusan, the Japanese restaurant, is unparalleled. The Arabian Grill has incredible options, even if you’re a vegetarian like myself. But the Beach Kitchen buffet is the best of the best. There are different themes each and every day, with three or four chef stations crafting everything from wood-fired pizza to handmade pasta and beyond. As for drinks, you can’t go wrong with an Aperol Spritz – according to my wife.
As for villas … there’s something for everyone here. If you want the ability to jump off your balcony straight into the reef and swim with fish in minutes, the Ocean Pool Villa can’t be missed.
Unmissable experiences are hard to narrow down, but snorkelling is a must. Swim out to the reef break and down to the ocean bed where the reef drops to be surrounded by incredible coral, stingrays and vibrant fish.
