“Finolhu is the complete package. Amazing, brand-new villas, the best food anywhere, ever, flown over from Melbourne’s Victoria Markets by Emirates every few days. The chefs are amazing, preparing food as good as any restaurant you’ve ever been to. And the choices are next level. Kanusan, the Japanese restaurant, is unparalleled. The Arabian Grill has incredible options, even if you’re a vegetarian like myself. But the Beach Kitchen buffet is the best of the best. There are different themes each and every day, with three or four chef stations crafting everything from wood-fired pizza to handmade pasta and beyond. As for drinks, you can’t go wrong with an Aperol Spritz – according to my wife.
As for villas… there’s something for everyone here. If you want the ability to jump off your balcony straight into the reef and swim with fish in minutes, the Ocean Pool Villa can’t be missed.
Unmissable experiences are hard to narrow down, but snorkelling is a must. Swim out to the reef break and down to the ocean bed where the reef drops to be surrounded by incredible coral, stingrays and vibrant fish. It’s just a couple of minutes from your Ocean Pool Villa or the beachfront. Be sure to make the 20-minute stroll or five-minute boat ride to Crab Shack, tucked away on its very own tiny island. This is also home to the Beach Bubble (subject to availability). Alone on the sandbank, just 100 metres behind the shack, you can sleep under the stars in air-conditioned comfort. It’s booked out for weeks at a time, but if you get in early, this is an experience not to be missed.”

Bookings (except for tour bookings and flights) may be cancelled with a full refund provided that cancellation occurs strictly within 7 days from the date of purchase and provided that the cancellation is made no less than 14 days prior to the check-in date.

Covid-19 Related Cancellations: If you can’t travel as a direct result of border closures or Government-imposed travel restrictions that directly impact your booking, Luxury Escapes will do our best to assist you with a date change or provide you with a Luxury Escapes credit towards future travel for any Limited Time Lux Exclusive accommodation, tour or cruise package, less any unrecoverable costs. Additional charges for date changes that result in a higher value will be charged to your account. Credit must be used within 12 months of issue date. After this time bookings are non-refundable except in accordance with our Refund Policy.

- Seaplane Transfers: Return transfers from Malé via seaplane are included in your package between 9am and 3pm, as seaplanes operate during daylight hours only. Baggage allowance for passengers is 20kg checked luggage and 5kg hand luggage per person. Any excess baggage is chargeable at a cost of US$5++ per kg, payable at the airport.
