The Homestead – Remote relaxation in an ancient landscape
El Questro Homestead is an adults-only outpost of luxury and tranquillity, standing resolute in the great Australian outback. 90 minutes from the airport and hundreds of kilometres from any city of note, guests are immersed in a feeling of uninterrupted relaxation and welcomed to shrug off the stresses of urban living.
Perched on burnt orange cliffs by the Chamberlain River, the Homestead lies in the 700,000-acre El Questro Wilderness Park. Guests are welcome to explore far and wide on hikes of all difficulties, or hop in a four-wheel drive and head off into the desert sun.
If you prefer to soak in the surrounds from the comfort of the Homestead, a gourmet onsite restaurant offers all meals and drinks, along with a Cellar Master Wine List for an additional charge. Take a casual cruise down Chamberlain Gorge or sleep in to the sound of local birdsong and the absence of city streets.

Your Visitor Park Permit to El Questro Wilderness Park is all taken care of, allowing you to settle in for the 90-minute drive to a remote oasis where all-inclusive dining awaits.
Indulge in breakfast, lunch and dinner at the Homestead’s onsite restaurant, as gourmet fare inspired by Ord River Valley produce is served at your convenience. Pair each meal with complimentary drinks – including both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options – for a truly indulgent touch.
The Homestead provides an array of activities to fill your days at El Questro, including a Chamberlain Gorge Cruise, guided bush tours, a sunset viewing, and exclusive use of Zebedee Thermal Springs.

7-Day Change of Mind ‘No Questions Asked’ Refund Guarantee: Things don’t always work out. Our 7-day Change of Mind Guarantee is there to help. Bookings (except for cruise bookings, flights and deposit fee, if applicable, which are subject to the cancellation terms of the relevant supplier) may be cancelled with a full refund provided that cancellation occurs strictly within 7 days from the date of purchase and provided that the cancellation is made no less than 14 days prior to the check-in date. Excludes flight and service fee, if applicable.
Date Changes: You can amend your booking ONE time provided the change is made within 14 days of purchase and no less than 45 days prior to the scheduled check in. Please contact the customer service team to enquire of available dates.
Please Note:
- Your package is inclusive of breakfast, lunch and dinner served on site by the dedicated Homestead team, with a focus on regional and native-inspired dishes.
- Breakfast is served from 6.30am. Lunch is served from 12.30pm to 1pm depending on tours on the day. Dinner is served at 7pm.
- Pre-dinner drinks and canapes are served at 6.30pm.
- Included drinks are from a fine selection of soft drinks, beers, wines, sparkling wine and basic spirits.
- Selected tours will take place within El Questro and may include: The Chamberlain Cruise, The Bush Nature & Native Tour, Injiid Marlabu Calls Us, exclusive and complimentary use of Zebedee Thermal Springs, Sunset at Buddy’s Point and guided walks throughout the gorges. Pre-booking is required.
- Return road transfers will be between Kununurra East Kimberley Regional Airport and El Questro Homestead. Luggage capacity is limited to one large case and one handbag per person. Pre-booking is required. Guests will receive information from the property about booking their transfers once their accommodation is confirmed. Transfers are to be arranged by communicating directly with the property.
