Daydream Island Resort

Located just five kilometres from the mainland, Daydream Island is one of seven islands of the Molle Group, located in the heart of the Great Barrier Reef in Queensland, Australia. The only accommodation on this island, Daydream Island Resort is peacefully set on the island’s esplanade, overlooking the iridescent waters of The Coral Sea and capturing the natural surroundings of the ocean and tropical foliage.

The only way to reach the island is by boat on a 30-minute ride (one way). Catamaran transfers travel directly to Daydream Island from Hamilton Island Airport (HTI). Airport and ferry transfers are not included. Please plan accordingly.

7-Day Change of Mind ‘No Questions Asked’ Refund Guarantee: Things don’t always work out. Our 7-day Change of Mind Guarantee is there to help. Bookings (except for cruise bookings, flights and deposit fee, if applicable, which are subject to the cancellation terms of the relevant supplier) may be cancelled with a full refund provided that cancellation occurs strictly within 7 days from the date of purchase and provided that the cancellation is made no less than 14 days prior to the check-in date.

Flexible Cancellation: You can cancel your booking for credit up until 21 days prior to the original check-in date. This can be done via self-service in your ‘My Escapes’ account. Your credit will be valid for 12 months from the date of cancellation. Credits are not transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.

Please note this does not apply to flights booked with us. Flight fulfilment is provided by the airline(s) selected at the time of finalising the booking. For your air travel, you are bound by the terms and conditions and fare rules of the selected airline(s).

Date Changes: If you need to amend your booking, you can self-service unlimited date changes in your ‘My Escapes’ account up until 21 days before your original check-in date. If you can’t find a suitable date, or still need further assistance, please contact our 24/7 customer service team. Subject to availability and surcharges.

Please Note:

• Dining inclusions do not include drinks (unless otherwise stated). Menus are subject to change without notice.
• The welcome drink is served at Tonic Bar and is a choice of beer, wine or soft drink.
• Buffet breakfast is served at Graze restaurant between 7am-10.30am.
• The included fish feeding show does not require tickets. It takes place at the living reef at 10am daily.
• The non-motorised equipment hire includes catamarans, kayaks and snorkels. Equipment can be hired from 9am-3.30pm (closed 12pm-1pm) and is weather dependant.
• The underwater observatory is open daily from 9am-7pm.
• Tour Desks assist guests with bookings of day trips to the Great Barrier Reef and Whitehaven Beach daily. Please contact our tour desks prior to arrival for day trip costs and timings.
• Nightly entertainment (varies) between 6pm -10pm, and poolside entertainment on the weekends
• Kids Club is open daily from 8.30am-4.30pm for children aged 4-12 years. Each session runs for 3.5 hours and incurs a surcharge per child. Activities include painting, arts and crafts, wild fish feeding, outdoor play, kids yoga, rainforest wildlife walk and talk, movies and more. Morning or afternoon tea is included. • Resort Credit: The included resort credit must be used during your stay. Any unused credit will be forfeited and is not transferable or redeemable for cash.
