Situated on an idyllic 100 acres of rolling green hills, manicured fairways and sprawling vineyards, this property is perfectly located for easy access to the region’s famous wineries, distilleries and cheesemakers. Hunter Valley Gardens and the premier concert venue Roche Estate can be reached in less than 10 minutes by car, while the Hunter Valley Wildlife Park is an additional five minutes down the road.

Château Élan at The Vintage is within a 2.5-hour drive of Sydney’s CBD, and just a one-hour drive from Newcastle Airport (NTL). Airport transfers are not included in your package; please plan accordingly.

7-Day Change of Mind ‘No Questions Asked’ Refund Guarantee: Things don’t always work out. Our 7-day Change of Mind Guarantee is there to help. Bookings (except for cruise bookings, flights and deposit fee, if applicable, which are subject to the cancellation terms of the relevant supplier) may be cancelled with a full refund provided that cancellation occurs strictly within 7 days from the date of purchase and provided that the cancellation is made no less than 14 days prior to the check-in date. Excludes flight and service fee, if applicable.

• Cancellations outside of the 7-Day Change of Mind period will not be provided, except as required by Australian Consumer Law, your local law or as otherwise provided for in the Fine Print.

Flexible Cancellation: You can cancel your booking for credit up until 21 days prior to the original check-in date. This can be done via self-service in your ‘My Escapes’ account. Your credit will be valid for 12 months from the date of cancellation. Credits are not transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash. Excludes service fee, if applicable.

Please note this does not apply to flights booked with us. Flight fulfilment is provided by the airline(s) selected at the time of finalising the booking. For your air travel, you are bound by the terms and conditions and fare rules of the selected airline(s).

Date Changes: If you need to amend your booking, you can self-service unlimited date changes in your ‘My Escapes’ account up until 21 days before your original check-in date. If you can’t find a suitable date, or still need further assistance, please contact our 24/7 customer service team. Subject to availability and surcharges.

Please Note:

• Dining inclusions do not include drinks (unless otherwise stated). Menus are subject to change without notice.
• Upon check-in, guests will receive a credit for each of the inclusions listed. The credits must be provided at each outlet in order to redeem the inclusions.
• The daily buffet breakfast is served at Legends Restaurant from 7am to 10am.
• The 25% discount on green fees at The Vintage Golf Course can be used for a maximum of two rounds per person, per stay. Rounds must be booked in advance.
• The spa discount can only be applied to one individual treatment per person of 50+ minutes and cannot be combined or exchanged for cash. 15% surcharge is applied to treatments booked on Sundays and public holidays.
• Hunter Distillery is open seven days a week from 10am to 5pm. Bookings are essential for the included spirits tasting; please contact Hunter Distillery directly to book. Tasting excludes Aged Spirits and Silk Range and a 10% discount on bottles purchased after the tasting experience. Pre-book online using promotional code LuxEscCE25, or by calling (02) 4998 6737. • McLeish Estate Cellar Door is open seven days a week from 10am to 5pm. Bookings are essential for the included wine and cheese tasting; please contact McLeish Estate directly to book, at (02) 4998 7754.
• The Hunter Valley Cheese Factory tasting runs daily at 11am. Tastings include five handmade cheeses, four craft kombucha flavours, and a trio of olives, oils, jams and chutney paired with wafers and bread. Bookings are essential; please contact Hunter Valley Cheese directly to book, at (02) 4998 7744.
• The included glass of wine consists of a house wine of the guest’s choosing, served at Spike Bar from 11.30am to 9pm. Non-drinkers are welcome to switch their house wine to a complimentary soft drink.
• Pre-booking is essential at Hunter Valley Cheese and Wild Wren Wines.
• Wild Wren Wines tasting includes wine tasting for two, plus the option to add a complimentary gin tasting and truffle pairing. Bookings are essential; book online and use promo code LUXURY when confirming booking and payment details

• Includes: A 2.5-hour luxury retreat at The Spa at Château Élan with a 60-minute Hydrolounge session, featuring an infrared sauna and two outdoor mineral spas before or after your treatments, a 45-minute relaxation couples’ massage with an indulgent milk bath, a glass of champagne per adult and a chocolate platter to share.
• Spa booking dates and times are subject to availability.
• The treatment is not available on Sundays and public holidays.
• Please arrive fifteen minutes prior to your booking time.
• Guests must be aged 18+ to receive the alcohol inclusion.
• Children are not permitted in the spa.
