Welcome to Norfolk Island – a stunning South Pacific outpost unlike anywhere else in the world. Impossibly clear waters frame the island paradise, and you’ll have the opportunity to delve into the island’s past and learn about Pitcairn Island Settlers, hit the tracks in a 4WD to see a different side of the island, or choose a Taste of Norfolk tour to sample local produce and see a cooking demonstration using the traditional ‘yorlor’ stone.
The soothing tropics await, and Hayman Island is undeniably one of the best places to soak it all up. Here, choose from an array of ‘à la carte’ options including a fishing adventure, guided hike, island-hopping or snorkelling at Whitehaven Beach.
Your tour begins and ends at Sydney Airport (SYD). Your flight on Day 1 will depart at 9am, and international check-in will open at 7am. For travellers arriving from interstate, it is recommended that you arrive in Sydney the day prior to your tour start date. The tour will end at approximately 4.30pm on Day 9. It is recommended that guests book domestic connecting flights to depart after 6pm on Day 9, or the next day.
Roundtrip flights to Queenstown and all internal flights aboard a privately chartered Qantas 737 are included in your package. Flights to and from Sydney are not included in your package and must be purchased separately. Please do NOT book your flights until your tour is confirmed.

Day 2: Queenstown – Milford Sound – Queenstown
A day of natural wonder awaits as you venture to Milford Sound, where towering peaks dominate the skyline and glassy waters sparkle against the rugged terrain. Day 3: Queenstown
Your day is off to a great start with a guided stroll around Queenstown. Next, enjoy a visit to the quirky gold rush town of Arrowtown with a stop to taste local honey. After lunch in Queenstown, you will have a choice of four excursions this afternoon. Enjoy a thrilling jetboat experience through the spectacular Shotover River Canyons, or uncover backcountry beauty on a 4WD adventure. Soar 450m above Queenstown and Lake Wakatipu on the Skyline Gondola, or experience the exhilaration of a helicopter flight over snow-capped mountains.
Return to your hotel with time to unwind before meeting as a group to dine at The Grille by Eichardt’s, where locally sourced produce is the star of the menu and makes for a great way to recap the day’s events.

Day 7: Norfolk Island – Hayman Island
Hop from one island paradise to another as you set your sights on Hayman Island. You will be warmly welcomed back aboard your private plane and continue north to the tropics and Hayman Island (with a short stopover in Brisbane to clear quarantine and customs). Then, you’ll swap one luxury mode of transport with another – from private plane to private yacht. With a drink and canapés in hand, you’ll sail over the azure seas to Hayman Island. Then, drop your bags and step onto the private balcony of your spacious room at InterContinental Hayman Island Resort, with views of the island’s lagoon.
Tonight, you can choose to dine at one of the resort’s modern restaurants, with your meal included as part of your journey.

Whichever option you choose, you will return to the resort for lunch and an afternoon at leisure. This evening, join your group for a candlelit beachside banquet at The Hayman Island Seafood Grill for one final farewell.
