Day 2: Campbell Town - Richmond - Cheese Tasting - MONA - Hobart
Wake-up the tastebuds with a gorgeous locally sourced breakfast at the Bluestone Bar & Kitchen, before journeying to historic Campbell Town and Richmond, one of Tasmania’s most popular destinations, steeped in history and surrounded by some of the state’s oldest cool-climate vineyards.
Nestled in the heart of the Coal River Valley, the Wicked Cheese Company is waiting to delight your palate with an impressive range of handmade cheeses. Afterwards, feast on a gourmet lunch at the family-run Coal River Farm. Continue to the world-renowned MONA, a “subversive adult Disneyland” of the weird, the wonderful and sometimes controversial artwork within its three-storey, subterranean cave-like building.
Cap off the day with a seven-course feast of Asian delights at Kwan Ho, a restaurant specialising in Cantonese, Sichuan, Shanghai and Chinese fare.

Day 3: Hobart - Salamanca Precinct - Ross - Winery Tastings - Launceston
Treat the senses this morning as you’re transferred to the stunning Salamanca precinct for breakfast, a place renowned for its picturesque rows of sandstone buildings and former warehouses converted into restaurants, galleries, craft shops and offices.
Afterwards, continue to the beautiful and historic town of Ross. Arguably the finest 19th-century village in Australia, Ross will enthral you with its cobble-style paths, grand old elm trees and Ross Bridge, Australia’s third oldest bridge.
Launceston has an abundance of world-class wineries and Josef Chromy Vineyard is particularly stunning. Acclaimed as one of Australia’s top ten, the Josef Chromy cellar door is housed within the original 1880s homestead. With a log fire always burning at its centre and a great view of the vineyards, it’s the perfect place to sample the wide range of award-winning cool-climate wines including sparkling, Pinot Gris, Riesling, Sauvignon blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Botrytis Riesling and a Ruby Pinot Port. After a tipple, savour a gorgeous lunch at this picturesque vineyard.
The second and final winery you will visit is Sharmans Wines, where you will have the luxury of tasting a range of these fine wines cultivated in clay-based terra.
Tonight, return to Sebel Launceston where you will once again enjoy beautiful accommodation. Dinner is just a short walk away at Rupert & Hound within the Seaport restaurant precinct.

Surrounded by its six vineyards and striking views over Tasmania’s pristine coastline and countryside, it’s one of the state’s most unique wine experiences.
If you love fromage, you’ll fall head over heels for Ashgrove Tasmanian Farm, crafting some of Tasmania’s most premium dairy products and handcrafted cheddar-style cheeses. Ashgrove’s impeccable quality has been proven again and again, with accolades from the Dairy Industry Association of Australia and various dairy and food award shows - but the ultimate proof can be found in the taste. Return to Launceston to finish a fantastic four days. It will be a 45-minute journey back to Launceston where you’ll arrive at the airport at 4pm.
