What You'll Love...

The Experiences – Discover the rich cultural heritage, visit fascinating cities and witness the world's most famous Passion Play

Start your adventure by taking in the breathtaking panorama of hilltop castles, terraced vineyards and villages of timber-framed houses on a Rhine River Cruise. Pass the legendary Lorelei rock rising vertically from the waters, named after the folkloric nymph who threw herself into the river in a tragic love affair – and continues to lure sailors with her ‘murmuring’ siren song.

Drive through the scenic Black Forest region, an area of unrivalled natural beauty with its dense forests of thick pine trees. View the charming traditional homes with their long sloping roofs nestled in the forest and admire the thunderous Rhine Falls - one of Europe’s largest and most impressive waterfalls.

Visit the heart of Switzerland, the stunning city of Lucerne – a jewel of preserved medieval architecture, sitting amid snowcapped mountains on Lake Lucerne. Walk one of the oldest covered wooden bridges in Europe, Chapel Bridge, taste chocolate in the best chocolatier shops and embrace the serene atmosphere of this enchanting city.

Drive through glorious alpine scenery to visit Bavaria's "Mad" King Ludwig's fantasy castle of Neuschwanstein, the most visited castle in Germany, perched high above the valley below. Lauded for its romantic architecture, the castle boasts two magnificent halls with dazzling, extravagant decorations in gold and blue.

Travel to the tranquil town of Oberammergau in the Bavarian Alps, known for its once-a-decade performance of the Passion Play, a moving performance that you will have the chance to attend. Witness the work of over 2,000 artists as they recreate the final days of Jesus' life, from his visit to Jerusalem to his crucifixion and resurrection.

Explore Salzburg, a baroque gem famous for being Mozart's birthplace. Retrace the steps of young Mozart, visiting his house and strolling around the lush gardens of the city.

Last but not least, journey to Munich, where tradition and modern sit side by side. Enjoy the daily display of the Glockenspiel Clock, showcasing life-size figures dancing to music and visit the striking Olympic Stadium, main venue of the 1972 Summer Olympics.

Optional Tours – Visit Obersalzberg and Dachau Memorial

Explore the ruins of Obersalzberg in Salzburg, once a mountain retreat for senior Nazi SS officers, in the countryside. Transfer to special motor coaches adapted for the scenic mountain climb and ascend to Hitler's notorious ‘Eagle's Nest.’

Now serving as a memorial to the victims of the tragic Holocaust, Dachau Concentration Camp was the first camp to open under Hitler's rise to power in 1933. The tour will give you the opportunity to reflect on the tragic events that happened during the darkest period of history.
