Your cruise begins in Tokyo (Yokohama), Japan, with a three-night pre-cruise stay at Keio Plaza Hotel Tokyo (or similar), and ends in Singapore with a two-night post-cruise stay at Royal Plaza on Scotts Singapore (or similar).
Your cruise departs Yokohama at 7pm on Day 4 and arrives in Singapore at 7am on Day 17. Please ensure you arrive in time for boarding.
Roundtrip flights are included in select packages only. Please do NOT book your flights until your cruise is confirmed.
Roundtrip international economy-class flights from Sydney (SYD) or Melbourne (MEL) to Tokyo Narita International Airport (NRT) and from Singapore (SIN) are included in Flight Upgrade packages ONLY, with departures from other cities available for a surcharge. Day 1–3: Tokyo, Japan
Irasshaimase! Welcome to Tokyo, Japan. Make your own way to your accommodation for the first three nights of your experience – the Keio Plaza Hotel Tokyo (or similar). This contemporary cool urban oasis is just a five-minute walk from the famous Shinjuku Station, a perfect launchpad from which to explore Tokyo’s vibrant culture.
After settling into your stylish hotel room, seize the opportunity to visit some of the city’s greatest attractions and hidden gems. Take a train to the timeless Sensoji Buddhist temple in Asakusa, shop ‘til you drop in the fashion capital of Harajuku and wander the manicured gardens of Shinjuku Gyoyen National Garden. Whatever your preference, there’s no shortage of things to do in this cutting-edge metropolis.

Day 2: Tokyo, Japan
Spend the next two days getting to know Tokyo in greater depth. See the contrast of old and new at the Imperial Palace, an Edo-era castle with pristine gardens surrounded by a moat and towering skyscrapers beyond. As you’re exploring the city, make sure to indulge in some local cuisine; from delicate cuts of the freshest sashimi to marbled wagyu beef and umami tonkotsu ramen.
Where modernity and tradition harmonise, see Tokyo from a new point of view at the peak of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building’s lofty observation deck. Head to the electronics district of Akihabara, full of cool vintage arcade games and modern tech stores. As you make your way around, don’t miss the bustling Shibuya crossing, a remarkable intersection with people crossing from all directions.

Day 4: Tokyo (Yokohama), Japan
Enjoy one last morning in Tokyo, taking the chance to explore as you make your way to nearby Yokohama, once a fishing village and now the country’s second-largest city. Perhaps you’ll stop at Rinshi-no-mori Park in Shinagawa, a large public park with towering crops of trees. Just make sure to arrive at the Yokohama cruise terminal well in advance of embarkation.
At 7pm, your ship departs on its Southeast Asia voyage. Settle into your cabin and enjoy dinner onboard as you set sail.

Day 5: At Sea
Enjoy days at sea to settle in and get to know the incredible Quantum of the Seas. Whether you seek an adrenaline rush or total tranquillity, your ship has it all. Stretch your muscles rock climbing, get behind the wheel of a bumper car, or jump into the thrilling skydiving simulator to experience flight, all available onboard. Melt away land-based stress with a spa massage (charges apply), build a scrapbook of memories, or simply relax by the pool.

Day 6: Kyoto (Osaka), Japan
Disembark this morning in Osaka and take a full day to explore, perhaps boarding a train to Kyoto – unofficially dubbed Japan’s cultural capital. Catch the light as it reflects off the Golden Pavilion, one of the most famous sights in the country. Ascend the steps of the Fushimi Inari Shrine, which pass beneath a sacred collection of thousands of red torii gates. Closer to Osaka, roam through the towering blades of bamboo in Arashiyama or indulge in a lunch of Okonomiyaki, Osaka’s famous savoury pancake.
At day’s end, return to the Quantum of the Seas and enjoy a delicious meal at one of the ship’s dining venues before settling back into your cabin.

Day 7: At Sea
Make use of your time aboard to catch a show from one of the world-class performers from across the globe, who come together on the ship to wow you from morning to night. Catch Broadway musicals, live bands, and interactive game shows – plus thrilling casino action, standup comedy, bars, clubs, and much more.

Day 8: Jeju (Hwasun Bay), South Korea
Jeju Island, southwest of the Korean Peninsula is South Korea’s largest island and a popular holiday spot thanks to its unique natural environment. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to see an impressive array of lava tubes cast off from the dormant Mount Hallasan, a UNESCO World Heritage-listed site with a large crater near its summit. See the magical cascading waters of Cheonjeyeon Waterfall, fabled to house nymphs in its clear pool. Don’t forget to stop by the Dongmun Market and taste an array of local delicacies like Jeju black pork, fresh seafood hot pot and spicy fermented kimchi.

Day 9: At Sea
Dining is about more than just food onboard the Quantum of the Seas: think ambience, variety and flexibility. Feast on far-out flavours from far-flung places, like American steakhouse classics at Chops Grille, fresh hand-rolled sushi at Izumi Japanese Cuisine and Tuscan favourites at Jamie’s Italian by Jamie Oliver. Then cap off your meal – or kick off your night – with futuristic, robot-crafted cocktails at Bionic Bar.

Day 10: Taipei (Keelung), Taiwan, China
Awake to views of the harbour city of Keelung, surrounded by sweeping mountains and ocean vistas. If you wish, take a 25-minute taxi ride to Taipei, the busy capital of Taiwan. Climb to the high vantage point at Taipei 101, a towering skyscraper with a viewing deck offering unparalleled views of the landscape and city below. For a nature retreat, head to Heping Island Park, dotted by unique moon-like rock formations caused by natural erosion. Take home a souvenir from lantern-lined Jiufen Old Street where you can purchase a handmade tea set.
Just make sure to plan your activities around Keelung’s shuttle schedule – your ship won’t disembark until midnight, but most attractions are 30 minutes from the port.

Day 11: At Sea
Relish another day onboard enjoying Quantum of the Seas’ world-class dining, entertainment and facilities. Take in 360º views from almost 100 metres above sea level at the North Star® observation capsule, or simply kick back with a good book on deck and enjoy the passing seascapes.

Day 12: Hong Kong, China
Welcome to Hong Kong, a busy city where ancient heritage and contemporary innovation converge.
Whether you’re looking for spectacular vistas, modern harbourfront playgrounds, delicious local bites or some retail therapy, Hong Kong has it all. Ascend to Victoria Peak via tram and capture breathtaking views of the skyscrapers below. Take the scenic route back on a ferry cruise, perhaps stopping at the historic Stanley Harbour fishing village.
You could also visit Causeway Bay for upscale designer shopping and vibrant markets to take home some handcrafted Hong Kong souvenirs. For those who are young (or young at heart), have fun at the Legoland Discovery Centre and the Cup Noodles Museum, or play a life-size board game at Monopoly Dreams.
Don’t forget to stop for a dim sum brunch and savour traditional steamed buns and dumplings, rice porridge, different varieties of spring rolls and sesame balls.

Day 13: At Sea
If you’ve not yet had a chance to stretch out on deck or take a dip in one of the Quantum of the Seas’ many pools, days at sea are the best time to do so. Spend a calm afternoon soaking in the Solarium, a relaxing adults-only pool retreat set beneath a sparkling crystal canopy. Or for more of a rush, grab a board and test your balance at the FlowRider® surf simulator, a 12-metre-long pool that simulates sea tides at a variety of intensities.

Day 14: Nha Trang, Vietnam
Say hello to Nha Trang, a laidback beach city in Vietnam lined by gorgeous sandy stretches, clear waters and evergreen rolling mountains in the distance. Spend some time today relaxing at the beaches, enjoying some of the freshest local seafood or venturing further out to explore.
Near the cruise port, you can ride across the sea and take in spectacular views on the world’s longest gondola, disembarking on Vinpearl Island. Here, you can make a splash at the Vinpearl Land and Splash Bay, complete with a lazy river, water slides, an aquarium and a full-size golf course. Or stay on the mainand and discover ancient places of worship and learn about Buddhist and Hindu traditions at the Po Nagar Cham Towers. Afterward, unwind at the nearby natural hot springs and mud baths at Thap Ba before returning to your vessel for a timely departure.

Day 15: Ho Chi Minh City (Phu My), Vietnam
Today, get to know vibrant Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam’s largest metropolis. Capture the contrast of its French colonial architecture and intricate traditional Pagodas. Travel 40 minutes out of the city to Buu Long Pagoda, a hidden temple in District Nine, royally dressed in whites and gold and surrounded by gardens.
Eat to your heart’s content – this is the birthplace of pho after all. Delight in some of the best bahn mi, packed with roasted pork and pickled vegetables, or branch out and try a novelty like che bap, sweet corn soup similar to a rice pudding.
For an educational excursion, head to the Cu Chi Tunnels, a deep underground system spanning 200 kilometres, where the country’s military forces hid from their opposition during the Vietnam Conflict.

Day 16: At Sea
Keep on your toes against family and friends, old and new, with a visit to the SeaPlex® where you can play games on a full-size basketball court and verse off in bumper cars at sea. More relaxed competition can be enjoyed on the pickleball court or in the onboard arcade, which features classic games from the 1980s and 1990s as well as modern favourites.
If you’d like a thrill, you’re in luck – Quantum of the Seas is host to the only skydiving simulator at sea. With RipCord® by iFLY®, you can feel the freedom of freefall without even leaving the deck.

Day 17: Singapore
Wave goodbye to the Quantum of the Seas as you arrive in Singapore. A gorgeous tropical island off the southern tip of the Malay Peninsula, Singapore is a futuristic city with a thriving metropolis, balanced by lush green spaces, including the 128-acre botanical gardens – a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit the canopy bridges of MacRitchie Reservoir Park, or you could always spend your hours sampling Singapore’s unique cuisine – a delicious fusion of Indian, Chinese, Indonesian, and Malay food.
This afternoon, check in to your five-star accommodation at the Royal Plaza on Scotts Singapore, situated within walking distance to the city’s main shopping stretch, Orchard Road.

Today is yours to explore this dazzling metropolis as you wish. Visit the Gardens by the Bay in the late afternoon to explore its incredibly diverse horticultural displays, and see the iconic Supertree Grove light up in spectacular colour in the evening. Take the elevator up to the top floor at Marina Bay Sands and step out on the SkyPark Observation Deck for a high vantage of the sprawling cityscape. Or head to Sentosa Island and cool off at Adventure Cove Waterpark, ride the world’s tallest duelling roller coaster at Universal Studios or swim with playful aquatic mammals at Dolphin Island.
