Every day

Availability:

• Available every day: Tours depart at 9.15am, 10.15am, 12.15pm and 1.15pm (last booking). Pick-up time varies according to tour start time
  • If your selected timeslot is unavailable, the nearest time slot will be provided for you
• Valid at Wellington location only
• Not valid: 24 - 26 December 2025, 31 December 2025 and 1 January 2026
• Pick-Up/Drop-Off Location: 217 Wakefield Street
• Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your pick-up time or you may miss your transfer. Wētā Workshop does not offer refunds or other compensation if you are late and miss your shuttle departure. Guests who wish to rebook their tour must pay the full cost of the new booking
• Please allow up to 3 hours from pick up to drop off (which also gives you ample time to explore the Wētā Cave).

Important:

• Exclusions: Food, drinks, merchandise and direct hotel transfers
• Please note: Wētā Workshop Unleashed includes some horror elements that may be disturbing for children, or unsuitable for guests with medical conditions aggravated by fright, stress, or lights. Parental guidance is recommended
• Bookings are subject to availability
• Tours frequently sell out, particularly during peak season (October – April). Booking in advance is strongly recommended
• Please allow up to three hours for this experience from pick-up to drop-off, which also gives you ample time to explore the famous Wētā Cave
• Infants (0–4) receive free admission but must be booked in prior to tour as spaces are limited
• For guests with sensory processing sensitivity (SPS), comfort tools are welcome
• Tour can accommodate a range of accessibility requirements. It is recommended that any participants’ wheelchairs have brakes
• Please note, there is a 500m walk between the two tour spaces. If you have mobility issues and have concerns about the walk, please contact Wētā Workshop’s booking team directly prior to booking
• Photography is strictly prohibited whilst in the tour spaces

Terms & Conditions:

• Wētā Workshop reserves the right to reasonably refuse entry with no refund given, and/or request guests to leave Unleashed due to disruptive behaviour, including but not limited to, verbal attacks on Wētā Workshop staff and/or other visitors to Unleashed
• Guests cannot take video or audio recordings inside Unleashed without the express consent of the Wētā Workshop staff. Weta Workshop reserves the right to check recording devices brought into its tour spaces, including, but not limited to, smartphones
