• This tour allows time to eat lunch on your own with recommendations from your guide. Before lunch, your guide will share a meeting time and location and you will need to arrive at this location on your own
• This is a walking tour. Guests should be able to walk at a moderate pace without difficulty

Terms & Conditions:

• Unfortunately, sections of St. Mark’s Basilica and the Doge’s Palace are not wheelchair accessible, therefore they’re unable to accommodate wheelchair users or strollers on this tour
• During times of high tides, flooding, or heavy rain, the gondola ride may be substituted for another experience
• Due to the religious nature of the Basilica, all individuals regardless of gender must cover their shoulders and knees. A scarf or shawl is acceptable. Walks cannot be held responsible for those denied entry
• If the local municipality restricts access due to high tide and there are no walkways available, it is the guest’s responsibility to bring appropriate footwear (e.g., boots). The guide will modify the itinerary to include alternate dry paths whenever possible. No refund will be provided if high tide prevents certain parts of the tour, but adjustments to the route will be made for safety and comfort
• Sites visited during this tour are subject to occasional closures due to holy observances, high tides, and/or flooding. If a site closes, your guide will tour the exterior of the site. If time permits, you will be contacted before your tour. For last-minute closures, modifications may be communicated at the tour start time
• St. Mark’s Basilica can be subject to unforeseen closures due to liturgical celebrations. In this event, your guide will give the tour from the exterior of the Basilica
• If access is restricted due to private events inside St. Mark’s Basilica and/or Doge’s Palace, we cannot be held responsible. This is a situation beyond Walks’ control. No refund will be issued
• Walks cannot be held accountable for any tour cancellations or changes caused by weather conditions, road hazards, or other unexpected circumstances that may impede the scheduled tour. No refund will be issued
• If the gondola ride cannot occur due to any operational or safety reasons beyond Walks’ control, no refund will be provided
