Important:

• Exclusions: Hotel transfers, food and drinks, and optional gratuities (for your guide) are not included
• Sometimes guides may not be allowed to give tours inside St. Peter’s Basilica, in which case they will share a brief explanation from outside and you will be free to visit the Basilica by yourself
• This tour is conducted in English only
• All participants must provide full names, dates of birth, and passport/nationality details to info@walks.org at the time of booking. The information must match the provided ID or passport. Name changes are not allowed, and failure to provide this will result in booking cancellation
• Selfie sticks are strictly forbidden inside the Vatican Museums, along with flash photography. However, visitors are allowed to take non-flash photographs anywhere besides the Sistine Chapel
• Knives, scissors, firearms and other cutting tools must also be deposited in the cloakroom as a precaution against harming the artwork inside. No hammers, either, as one was once used to smash Michelangelo’s Pietá
• The special access passage between the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica is closed on Wednesdays and is subject to other unexpected closures during special celebrations/festivities, including the Easter ceremonies. On such days we will instead explore the magnificent Pinacoteca Gallery.
• Only small backpacks and handbags are allowed inside the Vatican Museums. Storage is available but please note you must return (about a 20-minute walk) to the entrance to pick up your items at the end of the tour

• This is a walking tour. Guests should be able to walk at a moderate pace without difficulty
• Unfortunately, due to the nature of this tour it is not suitable for guests with mobility impairments, or for wheelchairs or strollers
• All guests (including children) must bring ID on the day of their tour
• Itinerary is subject to change depending on availability and weather conditions
• Due to circumstances beyond Walks’ control, sites may occasionally close. Every effort is made to stay as close to the itinerary as possible but substitutions/omissions may be necessary
• Walks cannot be held accountable for any tour cancellations or changes caused by weather conditions, road hazards, or other unexpected circumstances that may impede the scheduled tour
