• Bookings are essential at least 24 hours in advance. Should Scenic Day Tour Group need to contact you regarding your reservation, they will do so via the email/phone number you have supplied upon making your booking.
• You must advise Balloon Down Under, no later than 48 hours prior to the scheduled balloon flight, the passenger’s names, estimated weights in kilograms and after hours contact or mobile phone number (to be switched on) for flight manifest and contact
• Present printed or smartphone voucher upon arrival.

• Please arrive at your departure location no less than 30 minutes prior to flight
• Please allow 5 – 4.5 hours for the balloon activity program, which includes the inflation, the flight, deflation & packing up, flight program transportation
• Pick-up for most Gold Coast hotels, South of Broadbeach or North Labrador you will need to meet at the Mercure Gold Coast Resort, Palm Meadows Drive, Carrara or any of the main hotels within transfer zone for pick up
• Valid for the flight path selected at the time of purchase – please make your selection carefully

• Exclusions: Meals and drinks
• Please provide Name, Contact Details, Weight of Each Passenger (Ballooning Only) and Desired Pick-Up Location in the Special Comments section when booking
• Any additional personal expenses must be paid directly to vendor(s)
• Minimum of two passengers required for all packages and tours
• Hot Air Ballooning Civil Aviation policy states that if you are over 12 weeks pregnant you cannot fly
• All tours are subject to availability, minimum numbers and weather. All passengers must receive a safety briefing prior to departure
• Minimum flight age is 3 years plus, children and infants 3 or under are unable to fly
• Children under 18 must be accompanied by a paying parent/adult guardian (18+)

Cancellation Policy:

• Flight tickets are not refundable under any circumstances,
• In the event of bad weather, or flight cancellation, flight tickets can still be used at a later date (valid for 12 months)
• Failure to attend scheduled flight date results in forfeiture of flight ticket
• If you are unable to attend a scheduled flight, you may send someone in your place with a miminum of one day’s notice to supplier, including guests name, contact details and estimate weight of the passenger

Terms & Conditions:

• A fuel surcharge may apply to the ticket price. In such cases, any charge will be collected on departure, payable directly to VENDOR. No fuel surcharge is presently applicable
• Tours and aircraft substitutions are subject to Management and/or pilot discretion, weather, air-traffic control and availability. In the event of bad weather, providing there is availability, date changes are welcome or in the worst-case scenario, cancellations
• Reservations are held only when weights are received and full passenger details provided
• Balloon Down Under will not be liable for any loss, damage, additional expenses or inconvenience arising from, or incidental to, any delay in service. VENDOR works in conjunction with other tour operators and is not liable for their acts or omissions, whether negligent or otherwise. Travel and admissions will be subject to the conditions imposed by the operators, which may limit or exclude liability for personal injury or property damage
• In the event of bad weather, providing there is availability, date changes are welcome or in the worst-case scenario, cancellations. Please note, if half the paid tour was possible, the component not experienced will be refunded, not both
• Balloon Down Under has the right to cancel bookings, substitute vehicles, alter itineraries optional activities and prices without notice.
• Balloon Down Under or any of their affiliates will not be responsible for any unforeseeable events or break downs which may affect or alter the contents of the tours described nor will they be responsible for any death, injuries, losses suffered while on board any of our vehicles or during transferring of passengers from vehicle to any other vehicle, or during any optional tour/s or activities as you acknowledge that some of the activities have some risks factor/s.
