Things don’t always work out, so enjoy peace of mind knowing that the following cancellation options are available to you.

• From 1 day before your chosen date, onwards - Non-refundable
• Up to 7 days after purchase (and at least 1 day before your chosen date) - 100%
• Cancellations made more than 24 hours before departure date: no cancellation fees apply
• Cancellations within 24 hours of departure date, late arrivals and no-shows: 100% cancellation fee applies

Changes to Booking

24 hours’ notice is required to change a booking you have made

• Sun protective clothing such as T-shirt or rash vest, hat and sunglasses
• Sunscreen (SPF 30+). Reef friendly is recommended
• Swimming costume and reef shoes
• Beach towel
• Cash or credit card for on-board/on-island purchases, snacks and optional activities (AUD$, VISA, MasterCard & Amex accepted)
• Light jacket for cool or windy days
• Reusable water bottle
• Walking shoes for hiking trails

Availability:

• Available every day: Check-in from 7.30am–8.30am. Departs Cairns at 8.45am; returns to Cairns at 5pm
• Bookings valid to 31 March 2025
• Meeting Point: Reef Terminal at Cairns Marina, located corner of Spence St & Pier Point Road
• Please bring the credit card used and ID of cardholder for verification at check-in

Important:

• Please allow a full day for this experience. Departure and return times may vary according to tidal conditions
• Food and drinks are not included. Guests can purchase a Buffet Lunch upgrade, subject to availability. Unlimited filtered drinking water is provided on board. Food and drinks are also available for purchase on the island. Any additional personal expenses must be paid directly to the vendor(s)
• Passengers who are prone to motion sickness are advised to take necessary precautions such as motion sickness medication prior to travel
• Children under 18 must be accompanied by a supervising paying parent/adult guardian (18+) at all times
• Lifeguards do not patrol the beaches on Fitzroy Island

• Return ferry transfer-only option does not include any upgrade extras
• Snorkelling Equipment Upgrade:
  • Equipment must be collected aboard the Sunlover Cruises vessel prior to arrival at Fitzroy Island
  • For any un-returned or damaged snorkelling equipment, a fee equal to the current replacement value for the un-returned/ damaged snorkelling equipment will be payable at the end of your tour
• Tours may be cancelled occasionally due to poor weather. This decision is made after Sunlover Reef Cruises carefully assesses current and forecast conditions, with the comfort and safety of the guests being the number one priority
• Resort facilities are not accessible for day visitors
