Important:

• Check-in time for tours varies based on the time of sunrise and fluctuates depending on the time of year
• Hot air balloon rides are shared, meaning you will likely share your ride with other guests. The hot air balloon baskets accommodate as little as 2–4 passengers, all the way up to 20 guests at a time. Ample space is available in the baskets to accommodate groups sizes comfortably
• There are no weight restrictions for any of the tours. At the time of booking the weight of each passenger is collected to ensure proper weights and balances of the hot air balloon. This information helps allocate the appropriate amount of passengers per balloon for everyone’s comfort while ensuring passenger safety
• Flight time is approximately 45–60 minutes
• Please allow up to five hours for the entire experience
• Transfers are not included in your experience
• Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options can be provided for breakfast if required. Please advise Windward Balloon Adventures staff prior to flight
• Breakfast menu is seasonal and subject to availability. Images and sample menu have been provided as an example only

• Set menu restrictions apply. Any additional personal expenses must be paid directly to the vendor(s)

Terms & Conditions:

• Valid for day and package type selected at time of purchase – please make your selection carefully
• This experience is not suitable for children aged 6 years and younger
• Children must be at least 7–12 years old, at which age they are usually tall enough to see over the edge of the basket (which is 1.2 m high) without being held up. All children under 18 must be accompanied by a supervising parent or adult guardian aged 18+
• No pregnancies at the time of flight
• No broken bones or recent surgery at the time of flight
• Passengers must be fit enough to climb in and out of the balloon basket and be able to stand for the duration of the flight (approximately 60 minutes)
• Passengers should be able to jump off the second step of a ladder
• Must be in good general health
• A signed waiver of liability is required for all guests flying and/or riding in our vehicles
• Must be aged 18+ for alcohol consumption and provide valid ID upon request. Rivers Edge Cafe abides by the RSA regulations and has the right to enforce them
• Flights are subject minimum passenger numbers, weather and flying conditions and may be altered or cancelled at the discretion of Windward Balloon Adventures
• Windward Balloon Adventures is not responsible for the loss of personal belongings, injuries, or damages sustained from participation in hot air balloon tours or tethered hot air balloon rides
• If a passenger is 15 or more minutes late to check-in for their hot air balloon tour, Windward Balloon Adventures has the right to cancel the passenger(s) hot air balloon tour and no refund applies

Cancellations:

• More than 7 days before the flight departure: A cancellation fee of $150 per ticket will apply
• Bookings cancelled within 7 days of a flight departure or no-shows cannot be refunded
• Please note that you cannot receive a refund on any trips booked with a gift certificate or gift card
• All tickets include a non-refundable administration fee of at least $30 per person
• All tickets are transferable to others

Changes to Booking:

• More than 7 days before the flight departure: No fees apply
• Between 48 hours and 7 days before the flight departure: A rescheduling fee of $50 per person will apply
• Within 48 hours of the flight departure: No changes permitted

• Bookings for this offer are limited and subject to availability. Not valid with any other offer
• Entire value must be used in one visit; any unused portions will be forfeited, and cannot be used at a later date
