This small country between central and southeast Europe is known for its beautiful beaches and small islands dotted along the Adriatic Coast, with landscapes from shallow blue lakes and waterfalls to forests and towns steeped in history. Upon arrival in Zagreb, a transfer will bring you to your hotel for check-in.
At 2.30pm, join your group for an in-depth tour of Croatia’s capital. Make your way around the two settlements – the medieval Upper Town and the more modern Lower Town, now considered to be ‘central’ Zagreb. As you navigate the labyrinthian streets, stop by the Roman Catholic Cathedral of Zagreb within central Ban Josip Jelacic Square, the open-air Dolac Market, Saint Mark’s Church, the Croatian Parliament buildings, and romantic Zrinjevac Park.
This evening, congregate with your fellow travellers for a welcome dinner in this beautiful city.

Following breakfast, meet with your group to journey north into Slovenia. Your first stop is the gemlike Lake Bled, a picturesque stretch of freshwater at the base of the Julian Alps with a castle perched atop a cliff beside it. Here, cross the lake on a scenic boat ride, taking in forest surroundings and passing quaint Bled Island at the lake’s centre.
Take some time to explore the shore before setting off for Ljubljana, stopping along the way for lunch in one of the small villages. A guided walking tour will acquaint you with Slovenia’s capital, known for its population of university students and abundance of green spaces. Wander along the banks of the winding river at its centre, following pastel buildings as you take in the city.
Cross the border back into Croatia, and spend the remainder of the evening in Zagreb at your leisure.

This morning, wave goodbye to Croatia’s capital as you set out for the Plitvice Lakes in Seliste Dreznicko. This UNESCO World Heritage-listed region is a natural spectacle made up of 16 shallow lakes which reflect surreal hues from aquamarine to emerald, and which are flanked by a number of waterfalls, cascading over mossy terraces. You can choose to make your way around the upper or lower lakes, or both if you’re feeling adventurous.
Walk along the boardwalk and marvel at countless falls, like the Veliki Prstavac and the ‘Great Waterfall’, the highest in the park, which cascades down from 78 metres height. At the conclusion of your tour, you may like to board a scenic train ride back to the park entrance in the north (surcharges apply).
Spend the rest of the night as you wish, perhaps hiring a bicycle to leisurely ride around this beautifully diverse natural playground (surcharges apply).

Today marks the beginning of your intimate cruising adventure. This morning, a transfer will bring you to Split, the UNESCO World-Heritage city boasting ornate Roman architecture in abundance. Check in at your floating hotel after 2pm and acquaint yourself with the facilities onboard the 38-passenger ship, MS Adris, then set out for an on-foot adventure.
Take a tour of Split’s Old Town, including Diocletian’s Palace, an ancient harbourside structure built around AD305 as both a residence for the Roman emperor and a military fortress. The palace was decorated with imported marble from Greece and Italy, and columns and sphinx statues from Egypt, making for a very expensive residence. Fans of the ‘Game of Thrones’ television series may recognise this palace as one of its film locations.
Return to the ship for a three-course welcome dinner with the crew, and get acquainted with your cabin, looking out over the water.

Enjoy a delightful breakfast on board as your captain finds a secluded spot along the coast for you to make the most of the calm Adriatic with a morning swim. Following this refreshing dip, glide into the quaint medieval town of Trogir and disembark to tour the UNESO World Heritage-listed village with your cruise director and a local guide.
Located on the coast, Trogir is a picturesque blend of Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque architecture. Nestled on a small island, connected to both the mainland and the island of Ciovo by bridges, the town’s historic centre is dominated by the Cathedral of Saint Lawrence. Among narrow cobbled streets, explore ancient city walls, fortified towers and charming squares, all echoing tales from Greek, Roman, and Venetian eras.
As night falls, sit down for dinner at a local restaurant before strolling back to the marina.
Depart Trogir stopping at Bol’s famous ‘Golden Horn Beach – aptly named for its horn-shaped sandbar which stretches out from the coast, for a morning swim.
Continue on to Hvar. The island’s main town, also named Hvar, is characterised by its historic stone buildings, narrow alleys and impressive Hvar Fortress which offers panoramic views of the turquoise waters and surrounding archipelago. Hvar’s history is woven from Greek, Roman, and Venetian influences, evident in its ancient ruins, elegant Gothic palaces and the Renaissance-era Cathedral of Saint Stephen.
Keep an eye out for Hvar’s best sights en route to a family-owned winery where you’ll stop to sample a collection of locally produced vintages. Capture the image of Hvar’s enchanting vineyards as you return to the ship for lunch and the remainder of the day on board.
Today, sail to the peaceful island of Vis, renowned for its unspoiled seclusion. Your journey takes you through the crystal-clear waters and secluded bays of the Paklinski (or Pakleni) island archipelago, with an extended swimming stop included.
Arrive in Vis in the mid-afternoon, a once off-limit destination used as a strategic Yugoslav naval base. Its isolation has allowed Vis to retain a unique glimpse of the Mediterranean as it once was. Spend time exploring the picturesque town, where sea-front cafes and a labyrinth of quaint streets await. Stroll through town, soaking up the relaxed atmosphere and perhaps indulging in local delicacies like octopus, anchovy pie and braised veal.
For those feeling adventurous, a walk up to Fort George for breathtaking views over town is highly recommended. It’s a perfect spot to enjoy a drink while watching the sunset.
Turn now to the island of Bisevo, home to the magical Blue Cave. You’ll have the opportunity to join a guided tour inside this stunning natural phenomenon (weather permitting; surcharges apply), where the interplay of sunlight and sea creates mesmerizing hues of cobalt, sapphire and cerulean.
Sail next to the island of Korcula, birthplace of the famed explorer, Marco Polo. Enjoy the view of secluded bays while en route, full of crystal-clear waters and hilly landscapes.
Upon arrival at Korcula, embark on a guided walking tour of the fortified Old Town. Once ruled by the Venetians, it boasts an ingenious layout in the shape of a fishbone. As you wander through the winding streets, discover the stories of the island’s rich past.
Depart early for stunning Mljet National Park. Upon arrival, your cruise director will guide you on a stroll to its famous salt lakes, nestled in the heart of this serene expanse. Enjoy lush surroundings and views of a former Benedictine monastery.
After your visit to Mljet, sail on to the village of Slano, situated on the mainland. Slano is a traditional fishermen’s village, and offers a glimpse into authentic coastal life. From Slano, proceed to Ston, a small fortified village renowned for its medieval ramparts and oysters. Explore the town’s historic walls and visit a local oyster farm, where you’ll have the chance to sample some of the most exquisite shellfish in the region.
As the day winds down, return to the ship for a captain’s farewell dinner. You’ll share an evening of live music and entertainment on board, celebrating a wonderful sailing.
On the final full day of your cruise, depart early to the city of Dubrovnik. Known as the ‘Pearl of the Adriatic’, this city boasts a wealth of buildings that date back to the time of the Dubrovnik Republic. Sail past the walls of the old city centre, high on the cliffs overlooking the sea. Then join a guided walking tour led by an expert local guide who will bring the history and culture of Dubrovnik to life.
Wander through narrow, cobblestone streets, marvel at the architecture and discover stories behind landmarks such as the Rector’s Palace, the Sponza Palace and the majestic city walls themselves. Afterward, enjoy free time to explore at your leisure. Whether you choose to visit vibrant markets, relax at a cafe or take in the sun-soaked atmosphere on a stroll, Dubrovnik has something for everyone.
Today, set off to discover Montenegro, renowned for its deeply cut coastline, fjord-like vistas and historic cities. Your first stop is the UNESCO-listed Old Town of Kotor, where a guided walking tour will acquaint you with this wonderfully preserved medieval settlement. As you wander the narrow streets and mighty fortifications, you’ll be captivated by the history and architecture that make Kotor a true gem.
Next, visit the seaside town of Perast. Board a boat to the nearby island of Our Lady of the Rocks, home to a beautiful church and museum set against the backdrop of the Bay of Kotor. After exploring the island, return to Perast, where you’ll have free time to enjoy lunch on your own at any of the local restaurants.
En route back to Dubrovnik, your driver will stop at a family-run winery where you’ll taste the nuances of delicious local wines and snacks, soaking in spectacular views and genuine Montenegrin charm.

For the ultimate in panoramic views, ascend Mount Srd via cable car. It’s a unique perspective over the grandeur of the gem that is Dubrovnik.
