See the Grand Parade, where Nelson Mandela addressed the nation after 27 years in prison, and visit Saint George’s Cathedral, where Archbishop Desmond Tutu led anti-apartheid marches.
Walk through the peaceful Company’s Garden and explore Bo-Kaap, also known as the Malay Quarter, set against the slopes of Table Mountain. Watch artisans cut diamonds and create jewellery, a craft tied to South Africa’s historic diamond and gold trade.
You can choose to continue your touring and visit Table Mountain for sweeping city views. If the day is clear, you might even see Robben Island, where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned. After returning to the city, the rest of the afternoon is free.

Today, journey through South Africa’s celebrated Cape Winelands, visiting the renowned wine routes of Paarl, Franschhoek and Stellenbosch. Begin in Paarl, where rolling vineyards, pristine blue skies and sweeping valley views set the scene for a memorable day. Here, enjoy a wine tasting at one of the region’s local estates.
Continue to Franschhoek, a picturesque town founded in 1688 by French Huguenots fleeing religious persecution in Europe. Enjoy lunch at a local vineyard, then continue to Stellenbosch, South Africa’s second-oldest town and the historic heart of the country’s wine region. Enjoy a final wine tasting before returning to Cape Town for the evening.

Today is free for you to enjoy as you wish. You can choose to join an optional experience, explore Cape Town at your own pace or simply relax at your hotel.
After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to Cape Town International Airport for your internal flight to Hoedspruit (‘Hat Creek’ in Afrikaans).
On arrival, meet your tour representative and transfer to your first safari lodge in the Balule Nature Reserve, located along the northwestern boundary of the Greater Kruger National Park.
Settle in and enjoy lunch at the lodge before heading out on your first safari game drive. As you explore the reserve with your expert guide, keep watch for memorable wildlife encounters, including the iconic Big Five.

After breakfast, transfer to Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport for your flight to Victoria Falls Airport. Upon arrival, you’ll be met and transferred to your Zimbabwe accommodation.
