The resort is located approximately a 65-minute seaplane transfer from Velana International Airport (MLE) in Malé. Update 9 September 2025 10.30am AEST: Changes to the price of the compulsory Christmas Eve and New Years Eve gala dinners.

Update: 11th December 2024: As per the amendments to the Tourism Act issued by the Maldivian Government, applicable to all travellers arriving in the Maldives from 1 January 2025, the green tax payable by travellers upon arrival at hotels (including tourist resorts, tourist hotels, hotels, tourist guest houses, tourist vessels) has been increased from USD 6.00 to USD 12.00 per person per day.

Seaplane Transfers:

• The resort is located approximately a 65-minute seaplane transfer from Velana International Airport (MLE). The resort can only be reached by a mandatory seaplane transfer, available at an additional cost (payable directly to the resort).
• Effective 17 June 2024, transfers from Malé will be via seaplane only.
• On arrival at the airport, a resort representative will meet you and escort you to the seaplane terminal for your onward journey. You can relax in the lounge while you wait for your connecting seaplane flight.
• Seaplanes are customised for water landing; their flying hours are restricted to daylight hours by the Aviation Authority of Maldives. Same-day transfers are guaranteed to all guests who arrive into Malé airport by 3pm. For departing guests with flight departures after 9.30am, please be reminded that check-in time is 2pm and checkout time is at 12pm. If you are planning on arriving at the resort early or leaving late, please contact the resort to request an early check-in or late checkout.
• Baggage allowance is 20kg and 5kg hand luggage. Any excess baggage is chargeable at a cost of US$5 per kg, payable directly at the airport. Please note that depending on the aircraft load, there is a possibility that excess luggage cannot be carried on the same flight and may follow on a separate flight at a later stage. Kindly note that the excess baggage is chargeable irrespective of whether or not the luggage is on the same flight or a later flight.
• All international flight details and all guest names as listed in their passport must be advised by email at least 7 days prior to arrival. Please contact the resort directly at reservations-maldives@sixsenses.com to arrange.
• All transfers are subject to tides, weather conditions and the seaplane company’s terms & conditions.
• All transfer information is subject to change. Please contact the hotel directly to confirm transfer details before you depart for your escape.

Please note:

• No departures allowed on the 30 and 31 December 2025
• Compulsory Christmas Eve Gala Dinner: For stays on 24 December, an additional surcharge of USD450 per adult (12+) and USD225 per child (6–11) applies for the compulsory Christmas Eve Gala dinner. Payable directly to the resort. Children 5 years and under do not have an additional surcharge.
• Compulsory New Year’s Gala Dinner: For stays on 31 December, an additional surcharge of USD550 per adult (12+) and USD275 per child (6–11) applies for the compulsory New Year’s Gala dinner. Payable directly to the resort. Children 5 years and under do not have an additional surcharge.
