Update 9 September 2025 10.30am AEST: Changes to the price of the compulsory Christmas Eve and New Years’ Eve gala dinners.

Update: 11th December 2024: As per the amendments to the Tourism Act issued by the Maldivian Government, applicable to all travellers arriving in the Maldives from 1 January 2025, the green tax payable by travellers upon arrival at hotels (including tourist resorts, tourist hotels, hotels, tourist guest houses, tourist vessels) has been increased from USD 6.00 to USD 12.00 per person per day.**

Update 25 July 2023, 9.30am AEST: Reservations made over 24 December will incur a supplementary fee of US$509.12 per adult and US$254.56 per child for a mandatory Christmas Eve Bed and Breakfast rate, inclusive of tax and service charge. Reservations made over 31 December will incur a supplementary fee of US$636.72 per adult and US$318.36 per child for a mandatory New Year’s Eve Bed and Breakfast rate, inclusive of tax and service charge. Beverages are not included in the festive supplements and are charged based on consumption.

Seaplane Transfers:

The resort is located approximately a 40-minute seaplane flight from Malé Velana International Airport (MLE). The resort can be reached by a mandatory seaplane transfer, available at an additional cost (payable directly to the resort).
Flights are operated by Manta Air. Manta Air flight cancellation or date amendment charges apply when notice is received three days or less prior to arrival date. In order to ensure best possible transfer timings, all international flight details must be advised by email to the reservations team at reservations-maldives@sixsenses.com a minimum of seven days prior to arrival.
Seaplanes operate within the Maldives during daylight hours only. Should guests arrive outside the hours of normal seaplane operating times, then Six Senses Kanuhura can also organise a combined domestic flight and speedboat transfer to resort via Madivaru Airport within the Lhaviyani Atoll. Prices and further details can be provided by reservations-maldives@sixsenses.com upon request.
Six Senses Kanuhura reserves the right to amend rates with immediate effect should there be any changes.
On some occasions, your seaplane may have a stop en route to drop off and pick up passengers at other resorts. We will endeavor to provide you with the most direct route, subject to availability and the required connecting time for your international flight, or onward transfer arrangements.
Baggage restrictions: 20kg for checked-in luggage, plus 5kg for hand luggage per person. Baggage exceeding these allowances will be subject to excess weight charges, which will be advised by the airline.
