Shangri-La The Marina, Cairns is located on The Pier, Cairns’ waterfront shopping and dining precinct, only moments from the Esplanade’s iconic restaurant scene. An easy 10-minute walk from the resort you’ll find Hemingway’s Brewery on Cairns Wharf, the place to be at sunset, and the renowned Cairns Night Markets. The resort is approximately a 15-minute drive from Cairns Airport (CNS). Airport transfers are not included in your package, please plan accordingly.

Please Note:

• Twin Rooms: Up to two children may stay free with accommodation only, breakfast is not included.
• Payment and Pre-authorisation on Arrival: On check-in, Shangri-La The Marina Cairns requires a security deposit of A$100 per day to secure your accommodation and incidental charges. The hotel accepts cash or credit card pre-authorisation (temporary hold) of this amount. This process assists in the identification of theft and prevention of fraudulent credit card use while verifying funds are available for payment. At departure, the security deposit is adjusted against your incidental charges and the remaining amount is released back to your banking institution. Please contact your bank if there is a delay in the pre-authorisation (temporary hold) being released from your account.
• Restaurant Changes: The Backyard restaurant will be closed for lunch and dinner on future public holidays. Breakfast will still be available from 6am–10.30am and a 15% surcharge will be applied. This excludes any offers where breakfast has been confirmed as part of the package.

Important: The hotel, transportation and/or destination you are travelling to may have health, insurance and vaccination requirements in place. Please ensure you stay up to date with any requirements prior to your departure.

LuxPlus+ benefits will not be awarded in relation to any purchases, transactions or non-transactional actions that are reversed, cancelled and/or refunded.

LuxPlus+ member discounts and bonus inclusions cannot be converted or exchanged for cash.
