“See You Soon, Never Goodbye” – Our Sixth Stay at Hermitage Bay This was our sixth visit to Hermitage Bay, and each time we leave, we remind ourselves to say “see you soon”—never “goodbye.” This resort truly is one of a kind. From the moment you arrive, everything you could possibly want is right at your fingertips. The all-inclusive experience feels effortless, the ambience remains intimate and serene, and the staff—each and every one—somehow always know what you need before you even have to ask. Our days here unfold in the most perfect rhythm: lounging on the beach, relaxing by the pool, taking out the Hobie Cat, or simply catching up with our favorite bartenders, who now feel more like family. When we’re ready for a little adventure, we’ll head out on a day trip to Barbuda or enjoy the sunset cruise, which never fails to remind us how special this place is. This trip, we had the absolute pleasure of trying the Omakase Experience, and it was nothing short of extraordinary. Eight beautifully curated courses with perfectly paired wines and spirits, all presented by the head chef under the magical Tree Bar canopy. We’ve always loved the Tree Bar for sushi hour, but this experience elevated it even further. Sergio guided us through each course with warmth and precision—from delicate local fish and fresh sushi to lobster, tenderloin, and a matcha cheesecake so good it left us speechless. Rodrigo, the resident wine expert, paired each pour to perfection—his selections complemented every flavor flawlessly and added another layer of artistry to the evening. It’s safe to say we’ll be making this a tradition on every future visit. Hermitage Bay isn’t just a resort—it’s a feeling, a rhythm, a second home in paradise. My husband and I spent 5 nights at Hermitage Bay and it was nothing short of phenomenal. Perfect to celebrate a birthday, anniversary or just life itself!! Breathtaking views from an incredible hillside suite. The staff is so friendly and personable. They truly make everything as easy as it should be on vacation - and fun. The food is amazing, especially sushi by Mario, hot sauce by Stoney and you must try the jerk chicken wings. We alternated between the pool and beach, plus tried out the stand up paddle boards and hobie cat. Everyone must visit at least once, but once you do, you’ll want to keep coming back ;)

At the moment we step into the villa, we were stunned by the spectacular view. All the staff are doing their best to make the experience unforgettable. All the meals especially the sushi hour every afternoon is amazing.

For our second night we were moved to a quieter room. If you like to before 10:30pm, avoid rooms near the pool. Original review: We are being kept awake by loud music. The windows in our room don’t close so we can hear it full volume. I assume the non closing windows are also why the air conditioner doesn’t work well. If your idea of luxury includes good sleep I’d look elsewhere. This is despite telling the employee at check-in that we wanted to get to sleep early. On the other hand the food and location are decent. I’d include other details, but they’re not relevant to a hotel that keeps you awake.
