Closures and Enhancement Works

Vertigo & Moon Bar will be temporarily closed from 16 June to 30 November 2026. Saffron Restaurant will be temporarily closed from 16 June to 30 November 2026. Romsai Restaurant is currently undergoing enhancement works and is scheduled to reopen with a refreshed new look from 15 August 2026. Vertigo Too and Bai Yun will be temporarily unavailable from 16 August to 16 October 2026. The Poolside Area will undergo enhancement works from 15 July to 15 November 2026. The swimming pool will remain open and accessible throughout this period; however, certain sections of the poolside environment and surrounding views may be temporarily affected. Please kindly note that the swimming pool will be temporarily closed from 26 September to 5 October 2026 to facilitate essential enhancement works. During this period, we will be pleased to arrange access to a swimming pool at a nearby hotel as an alternative. Complimentary round-trip transportation will be provided, and our team will be delighted to assist with the necessary arrangements. In addition, selected public areas, including the Main Lobby, may also be undergoing enhancement works during your stay. Alternative arrival and check-in arrangements may be implemented to ensure a smooth and comfortable experience for our guests. During the enhancement period, we are pleased to continue offering a variety of dining experiences, including our new Thai restaurant, Saffron Grill, together with Romsai Restaurant, Saffron Cruise, Apsara Dinner Cruise, and Saffron Sky Garden.

Update 10 June 2026 4pm AEST: The Vertigo and Moon Bar rooftop restaurant at Banyan Tree Bangkok will be temporarily closed from 15 June 2026 for renovation, with an expected reopening of 28 November 2026 (subject to change). Main lobby enhancement works are also underway during this period; alternative check-in and check-out facilities will be in place. All other hotel facilities remain operational.

Starting 1 May 2025, all non-Thai nationals entering Thailand must complete the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) online within three days of their arrival. This new requirement aims to streamline the immigration process and replace the traditional paper-based form, offering greater convenience and efficiency for travellers.

Travellers holding non-Thai passports who are transiting through Thailand without passing through immigration are exempt from this requirement.
