Bruny Island offers wild coastline, big views and Tasmania’s finest local produce. We begin our adventure with a morning hike. Fresh air, coastal views and the spectacular Bruny Island Arch feature on our walk. It is a 2-3 hour return hike on the Cape Queen Elizabeth trail to Mars Bluff, taking in views of Miles Beach, The Neck and the Southern Ocean. The trail descends to the beach and the Bruny Island Arch, a natural rock formation. Next up, climb the 279 stairs to Truganini Lookout for 360-degree views over The Neck. Lunch is free time at Adventure Bay – cafe, takeaway or bring your own lunch to the beach. The afternoon includes stops at Tasmania’s finest producers: Bruny Island Cheese Co., Get Shucked Oysters, Bruny Island Honey and Bruny Island Chocolate.
