After breakfast, join your tour guide to discover Casablanca. Stops include the Hassan II Mosque – one of the largest in the world. Partially suspended above the sea and fitted with a retractable roof that opens on special days of worship, this feat of architecture pays tribute to the former King of Morocco.
Enjoy a stroll along the Corniche Ain Diab, the city’s seaside promenade, before arriving at the Habous Quarter, renowned for its colour-filled shops and artisans.
After exploring Casablanca, travel one hour north to Morocco’s seaside capital, Rabat. Visit the Hassan Tower, a 12th-century minaret originally intended to be the largest of its kind. Tour the Royal Palace, the official residence of King Mohammed VI; and wander through the Kasbah of Oudayas. This nearly thousand-year-old fortress now houses blue-and-white streets, gardens and cafes—perfect for a refreshing mint tea or coffee break.

Finish today at the Les Celliers de Meknes winery for lunch and a tasting before travelling 90 minutes northwest to Volubilis, an ancient Roman settlement with well-preserved mosaics and ruins that reveal life in a once thriving settlement.

Depart Fes and journey to Merzouga, venturing deep into the Sahara desert. Stop first in Ifrane, known as the ‘Switzerland of Morocco’ for its alpine architecture, ski slopes and forests. Pass through cedar woodlands and cross the Middle Atlas mountains to the town of Midelt. After a brief pause, descend into the desert and marvel at Erg Chebbi, one of Morocco’s most spectacular ‘Sea of Dunes’.
Arrive in Merzouga, once a historic trading post for spice-laden caravans making the trek toward Timbuktu. Check into your desert camp before mounting a camel or a four-wheel drive to witness a Sahara sunset. Enjoy a traditional Berber meal by the campfire, accompanied by folk music under a canopy of stars.

Begin your day with a six-hour journey to Todra Gorge, one of Africa’s most spectacular canyons with lush palm groves and towering cliffs.
Travel through the Valley of Roses, passing Kelaat M’Gouna, known for its annual Rose Festival celebrating the springtime harvest. Continue to Ouarzazate, nicknamed the ‘door to the desert’, and explore Atlas Studios, the world’s largest film studio, where productions like Gladiator and The Mummy were filmed.
