What you'll see
Launceston, Bridport, Mt. William National Park

Welcome to Tasmania! A whole new world of wilderness and wonder awaits as you’re picked up by your expert guide from the Hotel Grand Chancellor in Launceston at 7.45am. As you head towards the island’s spectacular northeast coast, you will pass through Lilydale and the Pipers River wine region before taking a short break in the beachside village of Bridport, known for its alabaster sands and world-famous golf course.

Your trek begins in Mount William National Park, windswept and effortlessly beautiful, where you’ll walk the powder-white sands of Cape Naturaliste. As you journey, keep an eye out for the region’s cherished wildlife, including red-billed oystercatchers and prickly sea urchins. Your expert local guide will ensure you don’t miss a thing.

Once you’ve taken afternoon tea, head inland to the summit of wukalina/Mount William, where panoramic views of the coast await. On clear days, you may be able to spot the nearby islands of Furneaux – the last remaining marker of the prehistoric land bridge which once connected Tasmania to the mainland. Return and rest your legs on the short bus ride to your charming accommodation at Icena Farm, where you’ll enjoy pre-dinner nibbles followed by a delicious two-course meal prepared by your guides.
