Much of today will be spent exploring Chobe National Park. During the morning and afternoon game drives, learn of the rich ecosystems of the park, which boasts an astonishing diversity of flora, array of stunning landscapes and, of course, spectacular wild animals.
Watch for elephants feeding and washing, spot stampeding herds of buffalo, keep an eye out for hyenas hiding from majestic lions and encounter different types of antelopes, including the rare, semi-aquatic puku, red lechwe and sitatunga. Depending on the season, you may also catch the second-largest migration of zebra in Africa.
Between your explorations, choose to relax in the luxurious surrounds of your thatched suite or unwind by the pool and take a cooling dip. You may also choose to delight in some of the extra activities offered by the lodge at an additional cost, including a catch-and-release fishing excursion through the Chobe area (fishing activity is weather dependent and seasonally available from May to August).
As the day comes to an end, a sundowner cruise will allow you to sip on a cocktail while you watch buffalo up close as they graze in the cooler night air.
