Classic five star apartments. Top notch service and excellent access to public transport. Good facilities, gym and pool. Onsite cafe/ bar would have been useful but short walk to all the great dining options on Darling Harbour.

Very handy location close to Central station, Capital theatre, transport, cafes, pubs, Chinatown and restaurants. Staff were friendly and efficient. Our room was well appointed with comfortable bed, coffee machine, kitchenette, full laundry facilities, dining suite, lounge and cold air conditioning. Bathroom was a bit on the small side but very tidy and no breakfast available but given location not a problem, we had good city view. A bit pricey but worth the cost for a quick trip.

The hotel is well located near Sydney city center. The main railway station is approximately 10 min on foot, nearest tram stop is 2 min far from hotel on foot. Asian restaurants open also after 10 pm are around the hotel. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Our room on 13rd floor was quiet and equiped with everything needed - washing machine, tumble dry and dish washer. All the detergents were provided by the reception, incl. drying rack. The bed was comfortable. Wifi was working well. The view from the window and shower cabin, which had no shelves for soap, shampoo, etc. and was flooding bathroom after each use, were the only drawbacks. Cleaning and changing towels after 3 days is also generally not convenient. Swimming pool and a small gym are good perks, but it is advisable to visit them outside peak hours, otherwise they are crowded. All in all, we enjoyed our stay here. Recommended.

We have stayed in various Meriton Suites over the years and until recently have been very happy with our accommodation. Unfortunately standards seem to have slipped since Covid - the room at Mascot (in 2024) was "grubby" with marks on the floor and hairs in the bathroom and a spa pool so cold you couldn't use it. Our more recent stay in Campbell Street started well - we arrived at 8:30am expecting just to leave our luggage and check in later however we were told there was a room available and we could access it immediately. Unfortunately the air con in this room was so noisy that we asked to move rooms - this was actioned promptly but the room we were allocated (1410) was just awful. A huge dirty greasy vent was right outside the room and was noisy at night. The basin in the bathroom was badly crazed & in need of replacement. The bedroom was so small that you had to slide sideways and duck to avoid hitting your head on the wall mounted TV to get around to the side of the bed. There were no handtowels provided (we had to ask twice for these) and no face cloths available to use with the body wash. There was only 1 teatowel provided for our 3 day stay - this was not adequate and really ...do you want to keep having to ask for supplies??? Like Mascot - the spa pool was too cold to enjoy. We should have asked to be moved again - but we were both tired from travelling and didn't have the energy to relocate for a second time. This stay was so dissappointing and not the usual Meriton standard that we have come to love and expect. There are many accommodation choices in Sydney CBD - if you want us back you will need to do better!
