JA Manafaru is located in the Haa Alif Atoll, at the northernmost point of the Maldives. The hotel is located approximately a one-hour domestic flight from Velana International Airport (MLE). Roundtrip premium direct scheduled transfers between the resort and Malé are included in your package. Premium direct scheduled transfer flights must be arranged with the property at least 15 days prior to arrival, and ideally before international flights are booked. Please note, domestic flight transfers run twice daily and transfers do not operate at night.
Please ensure you leave a minimum of two hours between domestic and international flights.

Buy Now, Choose Dates Later: If you want to secure this offer and don’t know when you want to travel please select ‘Buy Now, Choose Dates Later’. This will secure your package and give you the flexibility to choose your travel dates — within the book by and validity period and subject to availability. To select dates post purchase, simply select ‘My Escapes’ under the ‘My Account’ tab and follow the prompts.
7-Day Change of Mind ‘No Questions Asked’ Refund Guarantee: Things don’t always work out. Our 7-day Change of Mind Guarantee is there to help. Bookings (except for cruise bookings, flights and deposit fee, if applicable, which are subject to the cancellation terms of the relevant supplier) may be cancelled with a full refund provided that cancellation occurs strictly within 7 days from the date of purchase and provided that the cancellation is made no less than 14 days prior to the check-in date.
Flexible Cancellation: You can cancel your booking for Luxury Escapes credit up until 21 days prior to the original check-in date. This can be done via self-service in your ‘My Escapes’ account. Your Luxury Escapes credit will be valid for 12 months from the date of cancellation. Credits are not transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
Please note this does not apply to flights booked with Luxury Escapes. Flight fulfilment is provided by the airline(s) selected at the time of finalising the booking. For your air travel, you are bound by the terms and conditions and fare rules of the selected airline(s).
Date Changes: If you need to amend your booking, you can self-service unlimited date changes in your ‘My Escapes’ account up until 21 days before your original check-in date. If you can’t find a suitable date, or still need further assistance, please contact our 24/7 customer service team. Subject to availability and surcharges.

- Breakfast at Kakuni is available from 7am to 11am daily.
- Three-course à la carte lunch is available from Kakuni from 11am to 9pm or Andiamo Bistro and Pool from 12pm to 6pm daily.
- Afternoon tea at the White Orchid Lounge is available daily from 3pm to 5pm.
- Sundowners and canapes are available at the White Orchid Lounge from 5.30pm to 7pm.
- Three-course a la carte dinner is available at Ocean Grill, Andiamo Bistro and Pool, Kakuni Restaurant and the White Orchid Lounge. Dinner includes starter, main course and dessert per person. Available from 6.30pm – 9.30pm. Please note advance reservations are required.
- Free-flow drinks are available between 11am and 11pm each day. All drinks purchased before and after these times will be charged as per the resort’s price list.
- All-inclusive dining: inclusion is based on breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner and sundowner canapes. All food purchased outside these parameters will be charged to the guest’s account as per the resort’s price list.
- In-villa personal bar is refilled once daily at morning upturn with a selection of wines, beers, soft drinks, JA-branded still water and snacks. Only consumed items will be replenished.
Roundtrip Airport Transfers
- Travel time from Malé to JA Manafaru is approximately one hour. Please take travel time into consideration before booking international flights.
- Upon arrival at Velana International Airport, guests will be greeted by an Airport Guest Services Agent holding a ‘JA Manafaru’ paging board. They will be escorted to the passenger transfer lounge to await the onward scheduled flight into the atoll. Light refreshments will be provided.
- Should premium direct scheduled transfers flights from Malé to Manafaru not be available, an overnight stay on Malé will be required at guests’ own expense.
- Roundtrip premium direct transfers schedule timings may be subject to change depending on the operational processes and restrictions at Velana International Airport (MLE). The resort has no control and takes no liability for this third-party operation, nor the aircraft carriers’ policies or services and/or any schedule, delay or cancellation that impacts your onward travel.
- Premium direct scheduled flight transfers run twice daily and transfers do not operate at night.
- Premium direct scheduled flight transfers must be arranged with the property at least 15 days prior to arrival, and ideally before international flights are booked.
- Transfer costs are subject to change.
- Passengers are permitted one piece of baggage with a maximum weight of 22kg and one additional, smaller piece of luggage with a maximum weight of 5kg. Additional direct charges by the carrier may apply for luggage over the allowed weight limit. Heavy luggage may be offloaded and sent on the next available transfer. Please note this may not be on the same day of travel and the airline’s decision is final in relation to all flight movements.
- Infants are required to sit on a parent’s lap during the transfers.
