Cruise along the coast before reaching the magnificent Airlie Beach, the perfect starting point to explore the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Great Barrier Reef. From there enjoy a full day in sun-drenched Cairns, before dropping anchor at Willis Island and stopping in at the snorkelling paradise of Moreton Island – before returning to Sydney.

Your cruise departs Sydney at 4pm on Day 1 (boarding time advised closer to departure date) and returns to Sydney at 6.30am on Day 11. Please ensure you arrive in time for boarding.

Day 1: Depart Sydney
Your adventure starts in Sydney, a glamorous metropolis where you will find plenty of ways to fill your time before stepping onboard the Pacific Adventure. Why not venture down to Circular Quay and check out the world-famous Opera House, or if you are looking for a heart-racing adventure, you could climb the Sydney Harbour Bridge to catch jaw-dropping views that stretch as far as the eye can see.
Alternatively, you might like to take it easy and stroll through the many world-class galleries, museums and restaurants hidden among the streets of this captivating city.
Departure time is 4pm, so please be sure to arrive at the terminal in time for boarding.

Days 2–3: At Sea
It’s your cruise, your way, and time at sea en route to your first stop is the perfect opportunity to get acquainted with the rhythms of cruise life. Enjoy a well-deserved sleep-in, or perhaps head to one of the expansive upper decks to watch the sunrise before indulging in a delicious breakfast.
To fill your day, you can choose to simply laze by the pool, unwind at the luxurious spa, take advantage of the onboard entertainment or get your fix of retail therapy and shop up a storm before exploring the many restaurants onboard for your evening meal.

Day 4: Airlie Beach
If you ache to snorkel, dive, swim, paddle or just laze on breathtaking white-sand beaches, this is the place to do it. Airlie Beach is the gateway to the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Great Barrier Reef, home to spectacular coral displays and brightly coloured marine life. You could soak up the sun and soak up the magic of the Whitsundays from the deck of a rare classic sailing yacht, explore the unique tropical environment of their coastlines by kayak or set out on a high-speed jet boat ride to Pioneer Bay, home to multi-million dollar mansions and a plethora of peaceful marine life.

Day 5: Cairns
Bound by the glorious Coral Sea on one side and lush rainforest hinterland on the other, Cairns is a stunning cruise destination. Choose to ride the Skyrail high above the lush canopy and explore Kuranda Village before taking a spectacular train journey through the mountains. Consider a day trip to the tropical resort town of Port Douglas, with its laidback atmosphere, northern sophistication and prestigious restaurants. Don’t miss your chance to explore the colourful underwater world of the Great Barrier Reef on a snorkelling trip — or treat yourself to a stunning scenic reef flight and witness one of Australia’s most cherished natural treasures from the best seat in the house.

Day 6: Willis Island
Willis Island is one of several atolls and cays that stretch across 780,000 square kilometres of Australia’s Coral Sea Islands Territory. Drop anchor around these small islands and islets, and enjoy time contemplating the tranquillity of the region from aboard the ship. While you won’t disembark, you’re still likely to see green turtles swimming or basking in the sun and an abundance of birdlife, from high-flying frigates to wedge-tailed shearwaters.

Day 7: At Sea
Enjoy a well-deserved sleep-in this morning – there’s a full day of relaxation to be had onboard, after all. Indulge in all-inclusive dining and take advantage of the onboard entertainment. You could settle into the rhythms of cruise life with a day basking in the warmth on the sundeck, and in the evening enjoy dinner at Waterfront Restaurant before watching an original theatre production. Whatever you choose, it’s your cruise, your way.

Day 8: Tangalooma/Moreton Island
Welcome to Moreton Island, a tropical oasis of sand roads, mountainous dunes, glass lakes, wild forests and stunning beaches.
Over 98% of this adventurer’s paradise is a heritage-listed national park, with waters just as action-packed. With one full day here, you could take to the skies on either a helicopter or parasailing flight – affording views over WWII remnants – and, if you want to delve beneath the surface, snorkel the acclaimed Tangalooma Wrecks. Dive between the rusted bones of these 15 deliberately sunken WWII ships and discover a jade-tinted world of kaleidoscopic fish. There’s also a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to feed and play with dolphins in the shallows, right of the island’s coastline.

Day 9: At Sea
After yesterday’s exploration, take today to indulge in the incredible facilities onboard the Pacific Adventure. Get your toes wet at the onboard waterpark, delight in some retail therapy or float away in one of the onboard pools.
Be sure to take advantage of your all-around dining – this is your final night, after all. You could begin with an entree of sticky chicken wings and chips at Waterfront Restaurant, followed by mains at Angelo’s and dessert at the aptly named ‘Sugar Bar’ in The Pantry to finish.

This morning, tuck into a sumptuous breakfast before disembarking and continuing with your onward journey.
