One-Hour Guided Lake Cave Exploration Tour
Descend through a spectacular sinkhole amid a sunken forest of karri trees and emerge inside a breathtaking cave with a placid lake reflecting the intricate limestone formations on this hour-long guided tour. Regarded as the most ‘actively dripping’ cave in South-West Australia and the only one in the Leeuwin-Naturaliste Ridge with a perennial lake, marvel at the gravity-defying ‘Suspended Table’ formation inside, as your guide regales you with the history and geology of the lake. Soak up the thrilling underground ambience of the chamber, view the stalactites and stalagmites in changing lights, and gain a deeper understanding with a stop at the above-ground interpretative centre.
