  • Venue: Floating stage on Sydney Harbour at Fleet Steps, Mrs Macquarie’s Point 2000, Sydney
  • Guests are recommended to arrive early to avoid rushing. Ushers will close the doors at show time and may not allow latecomers in until there is a suitable pause in the performance

  • Exclusions: Preferred seat allocation, food, drinks and merchandise
  • You will be allocated the best available seats for your chosen seating category
  • Running time: Approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes, including one interval
  • There are no age limits, but this opera is recommended for ages 8+
  • All children occupying a seat or aged 2+ must hold a valid ticket
  • There is no mandatory dress code, but it is recommended to wear comfortable clothing and sensible shoes for walking up and down stairs to reach your seats.
  • As Sydney weather can be unpredictable, it is also recommended to bring warm and weatherproof clothing. Although umbrellas can be brought to the venue, they cannot be used during the performance
  • The event is an all-weather experience and the performance of Handa Opera on Sydney Harbour will go ahead even in doubtful or unfavourable weather conditions. Biodegradable ponchos will be available to purchase at the event
  • In certain weather conditions, the performance may be delayed at the start or paused for up to 50 minutes. Performances are only cancelled in the event of electrical storms within a 10 km radius, or during periods of extreme wind or heavy rain
