Changes to Booking

48 hours’ notice is required to change a booking you have made

  • For kayaking in summer months (December to February) swimwear with thermal leggings or gym type leggings and a thermal top layer, fleece jersey and light jacket is recommended
  • For kayaking in colder months (March to November), swimwear, thermal leggings or gym type leggings and a thermal top layer with a minimum of three upper layers which are preferably fleece or wool are recommended. Bring along a woolen beanie and woollen gloves.
  • If it looks like it will rain, carry a rain jacket
  • Towel
  • Carry weather-appropriate clothes to change into after the tour
  • Water bottle

Terms & Conditions:

  • This experience is not suitable for children under the age of 5. All children under the age of 17 must be supervised by a responsible adult aged 18+ per participant at all times
  • Itinerary is subject to change depending on availability, weather and road conditions
  • A maximum weight of 105kg applies per stand-up paddle
  • If a tour fails to satisfy the minimum numbers, the tour may be cancelled or rescheduled
  • Paddle Board Rotorua reserves the right to cancel any activity at its discretion (but not limited to) any of the following reasons: a) lake, road or weather conditions; b) lack of numbers participating in the activity; c) unsuitability of guest(s) due to reasons such as age, ill health, poor fitness, intoxication or any other reasons rendering a guest unsuitable or unfit to participate in the activity; d) staff availability, e) any other circumstances which are beyond the reasonable control of the Operator
  • Paddle Board Rotorua will get in touch well in advance if the weather looks bad and notify the guest(s). If their regulations allow them, they will operate
  • Wildlife sightings are likely but cannot be guaranteed
