Stand Up Paddle Boarding, Lunch and Hot Spring Experience in Mornington Peninsula
All-encompassing, All-inclusive, Epic! The only way to truly experience the best the Mornington Peninsula has to offer in one magnificent day, full of outdoor adventure activities, hot springs, nature & wildlife & incredible local produce.
Our adventurous journey begins at one of the most beautiful white sandy beaches on the Peninsula adorned with the famous colourful bathing boxes. Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP) along the crystal-clear waters of the Mornington Peninsula is one of the must-do experiences so the perfect place to embark on a SUP lesson and tour. Your guide is a certified SUP instructor and will give you all necessary pointers and safety instructions before we get on the water. There are often dolphins close by, so remember to keep your eyes peeled!
We will be on the water for around an hour to an hour and a half exploring the coastline which is ample time to fall in love with the world’s fastest growing watersport as well as enjoying the stunning vistas and backdrop of Arthurs Seat (Wonga).
After a coffee break, we take the short drive to the southern coastline of the Peninsula to enjoy a breathtaking guided coastal hike along nature trails with ocean vistas to Bushrangers Bay. This bay is named after two escaped Aussie convicts—we’ll tell you all about it on the day! We often see wildlife like kangaroos and echidnas before arriving at the rugged, expansive, and jaw-dropping ocean scenery. As we look out onto a deserted bay, the turquoise blue rock pools add to an already incredible scenery whilst breathing in some of the world’s cleanest air!
Revitalised from our adventures, it’s time to refuel and indulge your palate with a delicious picnic lunch full of fresh local produce at a spectacular beach viewpoint. We also provide other refreshments such as native tea, coffee and local beverages.
After lunch it’s time to relax in the best way possible. The Peninsula Hot Springs are some of the world’s best thermal hot springs and are set amongst nature which is the perfect way to chill and unwind. Here you’ll be able to kick back and relax in a tranquil setting with over 50 global bathing experiences, including an amphitheatre of geothermal pools, ice cave, saunas, hammocks and more.
Finally, a trip to the Mornington Peninsula wouldn’t be complete without experiencing one of its picturesque wineries so we head to one of our favourites, a beautiful quirky winery which focuses on incorporating organic practices. Here we will have some time to taste some of the best wines on the Peninsula whilst enjoying the vineyard views.
Lastly, while you sit back and reminisce on an unforgettable day, we’ll take a stunning scenic drive via the summit of the Mornington Peninsula back to where our epic adventure started at McCrae Lighthouse.
