• Departure/Return Point: Matiatia Ferry Terminal, Waiheke Island. A representative from The Wine Tasting Company will meet you on arrival with a signboard as you disembark the ferry
• Please note, the default pick-up/drop-off location for this tour is Matiatia Fullers Ferry Terminal. Pick-up/drop-off can be organised from Kennedy Point Ferry Terminal on request. Please advise at time of booking
• For guests staying on Waiheke Island, The Wine Tasting Company can arrange return transfers from your hotel. Please advise of hotel location at time of booking or via email to info@thewinetastingcompany.co.nz

Important:

• Please note, ferry tickets are not included in this tour and guests must make their own way to Waiheke Island
• Ferries can be booked online or at ticket machines at the ferry terminal: 99 Quay Street, Auckland CBD. Please arrive at the terminal 60 minutes prior to your departure time. For weekend tours, please arrive at the Auckland Ferry Terminal by 8.15am at the very latest to ensure you get a seat on the 9am ferry
• Should you miss the 9am ferry from Auckland, you will be required to make your own way to the vineyard to meet up with the rest of the tour group
• Vineyard visits vary by tour and may include Mudbrick, Kennedy Point, The Batch, Tantalus, Te Motu, Stonyridge, Casita Miro, Obsidian, Awaroa, Wild on Waiheke, Postage Stamp or Cable Bay. If you have vineyard requests, please mention these at booking stage and The Wine Tasting Company will do their best to take you there
• Some cellar doors are ‘by appointment only’ and some others are closed on weekdays from Easter to NZ Labour Weekend (end of October) so may not be available to host tastings. There is also a significant ‘wedding business’ on Waiheke Island and that might also limit available tasting times
• Please notify at the time of booking of any dietary requirements and menu preference
• Lunch menu is seasonal and subject to change. Valid for dine-in only
• Set menu restrictions apply. Any excess amount must be paid directly to vendors

Terms & Conditions:

• Tour requires minimum of two people to book
• Maximum group size for this tour is 22 guests
• All participants of this experience must be 18+ and carry valid photo ID
• The Wine Tasting Company reserves the right to use alternate vehicles and operators. Itinerary is subject to change with no notice
• The consumption of alcohol is not permitted in tour vehicles. Intoxicated or rude passengers causing a disturbance will be requested to depart the vehicle and no refund will be provided
• Passengers who soil or vomit in the vehicles will be charged a cleaning fee. This will either be charged to your credit card or cash payment
• The Wine Tasting Company will not be held responsible for any damage caused intentionally or otherwise to people, property or venues and the passengers and/or organiser will be held liable to cover any additional costs incurred
• Tours operate in most weather conditions. During extreme weather events, The Wine Tasting Company will review the situation and confirm cancellations by 8am on the day

Cancellations:

• Cancellations received more than 7 days before the booked start time will be refunded, less any payment transaction costs
• Cancellations received between 7 days and 24 hours before the booked start time will receive a 50% refund
• Cancellations received within 24 hours of the booked start time, and no-shows or late-comers on the day, will not receive any refund
• Special conditions apply to all group booking cancellations. Should number of attendees in a group change, you will be liable to pay for the confirmed amount of people

Changes to Booking:

• 7 days’ notice is required to change a booking you have made

• Entire value must be used in one visit; any unused portions will be forfeited, and cannot be used at a later date
