• Meeting Point: Sofi’s Lounge, in the lobby of Sofitel Melbourne – 25 Collins St, Melbourne
• Pick-Up/Drop-Off Point: Complimentary return transfers are available from CBD, Southbank and Docklands locations – please advise of location at time of booking
• For customers making their own way to the meeting point, please arrive at least 15 minutes before the scheduled check-in time. Late arrivals and no-shows void voucher

Important:

• Check-in time for tours varies based on the time of sunrise and fluctuates depending on the time of year
• Hot air balloon rides are shared, meaning you will likely share your ride with other guests
• There are no weight restrictions for any of the flights . At the time of booking the weight of each passenger is collected to ensure proper weights and balances of the hot air balloon. This information helps allocate the appropriate amount of passengers per balloon for everyone’s comfort while ensuring passenger safety
• Flight time is approximately 45–60 minutes. Total experience time, including transport and setup, is approximately three hours
• Meals, drinks and transfers are not included
• Please do not be late, as the pilots depart shortly after the meeting time, and you may miss your flight

Terms & Conditions:

• Valid for day and package type selected at time of purchase – please make your selection carefully
• This experience is not suitable for children under 5
• No pregnancies at the time of flight
• No broken bones or recent surgery at the time of flight
• Passengers must be able to stand unaided for the duration of the flight (up to 60 minutes)
• Passengers should be able to jump off the second step of a ladder
• Must be in good general health
• A signed waiver of liability is required for all guests flying and/or riding in our vehicles
• Flights are subject to minimum passenger numbers, weather and flying conditions and may be altered or cancelled at the discretion of Picture This Ballooning. If the weather is not suitable for flying, your pilot will cancel the flight. You will be notified of this and will be able to reschedule your flight to another day. The expiry date of your booking/voucher will be extended to give you more time to find a date to fly
• Picture This Ballooning is not responsible for the loss of personal belongings, injuries, or damages sustained from participation in hot air balloon tours or tethered hot air balloon rides
• If a passenger is 15 or more minutes late to check in for their hot air balloon tour, Picture This Ballooning has the right to cancel the passenger(s) hot air balloon tour and no refund applies

Cancellations:

• Cancellations made more than 7 days before departure date: refunds are permitted, less a cancellation fee from A$150 per ticket
• Cancellations within 7 days of departure date, late arrivals and no-shows: no refunds permitted

Changes to Booking:

• 7 days’ notice is required to change a booking you have made. No rescheduling fees apply for changes made more than 7 days in advance of flight date
• Between 48 hours and 7 days before the flight departure: a reschedule fee from $50 per ticket will apply to any flight rescheduled
• Within 48 hours of the flight departure: no changes or refunds are permitted
• It is recommended that passengers arrange their own insurance provisions in case of unforeseen circumstances including being unable to fly due to illness
