Update 12 May 2026, 11.38am AEST: Beginning Monday, March 2 2026 the resort will undertake a series of thoughtful enhancements, part of a broader transformation designed to elevate the guest experience while honoring its legacy as the iconic home of surf culture and the original site of the Outrigger Canoe Club. As part of these enhancements, select areas of the resort are being refreshed. Guests may notice intermittent daytime activity, carefully scheduled Monday through Friday between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Evenings and weekends will remain quiet and uninterrupted.
