Mercure Maldives Kooddoo Resort
Located amid lush native vegetation on Kooddoo Island – part of the Gaafu Alifu Atoll in the southern Maldives – Mercure Maldives Kooddoo Resort is accessible via a 60-minute direct domestic flight from the capital, Malé. Roundtrip flights from Malé to Kooddoo Island are included in your package. From Kooddoo Airport (GKK), a five-minute drive in a shuttle car will whisk you to the resort. The earliest departure from Malé is at 9am and the latest is at 10pm. Please contact the resort directly to arrange transfers.
International flights to Malé’s Velana International Airport (MLE) are not included and must be purchased separately. Guests must allow for three hours between domestic transfers and international connections. Transfers are not included for additional guests and incur an obligatory US$400 surcharge.

Blackout Dates & Surcharges: A non-refundable surcharge per room, per night may apply, payable at the time of booking. Dates and prices are identified in the Booking Calendar. Blackout dates may apply.
7-Day Change of Mind ‘No Questions Asked’ Refund Guarantee: Things don’t always work out. Our 7-day Change of Mind Guarantee is there to help. Bookings (except for cruise bookings, flights and deposit fee, if applicable, which are subject to the cancellation terms of the relevant supplier) may be cancelled with a full refund provided that cancellation occurs strictly within 7 days from the date of purchase and provided that the cancellation is made no less than 14 days prior to the check-in date. Excludes flight and service fee, if applicable.
- Cancellations outside of the 7-Day Change of Mind period will not be provided, except as required by Australian Consumer Law, your local law or as otherwise provided for in the Fine Print.
Flexible Cancellation: You can cancel your booking for credit up until 45 days prior to the original check-in date. This can be done via self-service in your ‘My Escapes’ account. Your credit will be valid for 12 months from the date of cancellation. Credits are not transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash. Excludes service fee, if applicable.
Please note this does not apply to flights booked with us. Flight fulfilment is provided by the airline(s) selected at the time of finalising the booking. For your air travel, you are bound by the terms and conditions and fare rules of the selected airline(s).
Date Changes: If you need to amend your booking, you can self-service ONE date change in your ‘My Escapes’ account up until 45 days before your original check-in date. - Travel insurance is strongly recommended.
- Excursions may be chosen from the following list: sunset fishing, sandbank excursion with 50% discount or snorkelling excursion. Activities may be chosen from the following list: 30% discount on 30- or 60-minute spa massages, 15-minute fun tube ride, tank dive (for certified divers only) or champagne and canapes for two (counts as two activities). All activities and services are subject to availability and weather conditions and must be booked in advance.
- The 30% spa discount cannot be combined with a complimentary massage.
- Access to daily recreational activities includes full access to the 24-hour fitness centre, aqua fitness, pilates, yoga and snorkelling equipment. Guests will also have access to daily one-hour hire of a stand-up paddleboard or a kayak. Please note stand-up paddleboard access is subject to availability.
- Complimentary snacks and drinks at Pool Bar can be accessed from 11am to 6pm.
- Complimentary drinks can be accessed at Vista from 11am to 10pm.
- Daily minibar replenishment will include snacks, chocolates, liquor, beers and soft drinks.
- Daily bucket of beer includes four beers, served upon request in-villa once per day, between 10am and 5pm.
- Mercure Maldives Kooddoo Resort practices Responsible Service of Alcohol and reserves the right to refuse alcohol service on those grounds.
- For diving excursions, a diving license and applicable insurance is required.
Domestic Malé Flights
- Arrival: Domestic flights depart Malé for the resort at the following times: 7.50am, 12.10pm, 3.35pm, 5.35pm, 11.45pm
- Departure: Domestic flights depart the resort for Malé at the following times: 5.50am, 9.35am, 1.45pm, 5.10pm, 7.45pm
- Please note that flight timings are subject to change.
- To ensure flight availability, Mercure Maldives Kooddoo Resort requires your international flight information at least 14 days before your arrival date.
- Check-in opens two hours before departure time, and closes one hour before departure time.
- Arrivals and departures outside of the times provided will be required to purchase accommodation in Malé at guest’s own expense.
- Baggage allowance for domestic flights is 20kg of checked luggage and 5kg of hand luggage per person. Luggage over this weight limit will attract a charge of US$3.61 per kilo.
- The airport lounge service is available upon arrival ONLY at Malé Airport (MLE) while waiting for your onward flight to the resort.
