Seaplane Transfers:

• The resort is located approximately a 45-minute journey from Velana International Airport (MLE). The resort can be reached by a 40-minute seaplane transfer, followed by a 5-minute speedboat ride, arranged by the resort.
• Transfer timings are arranged based on your flight arrival/departure time, if you are arriving on an international flight. If you require a transfer from another resort or island, transfer timings are organised based on your local transfers.
• Timings for your transfer will be confirmed the night before your arrival.
• Please contact the resort directly at reservations-velavaru@angsana.com with your flight details at least 48 hours prior to your arrival to arrange your transfers. Any charges incurred are payable direclty to the resort.
• Seaplanes are operated by a third-party company and are designed for water take-off and landing. Therefore, their flying times are restricted to daylight hours (between 6am and 3.30pm only) by the Maldives Civil Aviation Authority. Seaplane transfers can be arranged for international flights landing before 3pm only. If your flight is schedule to land after 3pm, you will need to arrange overnight accommodation. Please advise the resort of your accommodation details at least 48 hours prior to your arrival, and the resort will coordinate next-day seaplane transfers.
• Upon arrival at the airport, a representative will meet you outside the gate, holding a sign with the resort’s logo. The representative will escort you to the seaplane check-in counters.
• The luggage weight limit is 20kg for checked luggage and 5kg for hand luggage with no additional charges.
• All transfer information is subject to change. Please contact the hotel directly to confirm transfer details before you depart for your escape.

Please Note: The following applies to select packages only

• Compulsory Christmas Eve and New Year’s Gala Dinner: For stays on 24 December, an additional surcharge of US$280 per adult (12+) and US$140 per child (4-11) applies for the compulsory Christmas Eve Gala dinner. For stays on 31 December, an additional surcharge of US$400 per adult (12+) and US$200 per child (4-11) applies for the compulsory New Year’s Gala dinner. Payable directly to the resort.
• Seaplane transfer from Malé to the resort is not included in your package and must be paid directly to the resort. Roundtrip transfers will incur a surcharge of US$555 per adult (12+), US$350 per child (2-11) and free of charge for infants (under 2 years old). Payable directly to the resort. Please note that no seat is provided for the infant. From 1 February 2026, the additional surcharge will be US$580 per adult (12+), US$365 per child (2-11) and free of charge for infants (under 2 years old).
• Resort Credit: The included credit must be used during your stay. Any unused credit will be forfeited and is not transferable or redeemable for cash. Credit is redeemable at dining outlets and at the spa.

• Dining experience:
  • Breakfast, lunch and dinner served at the main restaurant (see below) – enjoy a combination of a la carte menus or sumptuous buffets along with live cooking stations, BBQ & Grill.
  • Land Villa guests: Kaani Restaurant and Kuredhi Bar 
  • InOcean Pool Villa guests: Kaani Restaurant, Kuredhi Bar and Azzurro Restaurant 
  • Afternoon tea/coffee, where you can enjoy a selection of handmade goodies and snacks from 3.30pm to 5.00pm daily.
  • 20% discount on Destination Dining experience.
• Beverages:
  • Free flow of alcoholic beverages including a selection of wines, beers, cocktails & house pour international branded spirits, non-alcoholic beverages including a selection of mocktails, soft drinks, sparkling/still mineral water and a selection of tea/coffee at the main restaurant and bar. Available daily from 11:00am to 11:00pm.
  • Minibar: In-villa minibar soft drinks and snacks will be replenished daily. Other beverages such as selected brands of spirits, wines and beers from the minibar will be chargeable.
