Amritara Shalimar Spice Garden Resort & Spa in Thekaddy, Kerala is a four-hour drive from Madurai Airport (IXM), a four-hour drive from Cochin International Airport (COK), and a 10-hour drive from Bengaluru. A well-known tourist hotspot, Thekaddy is famous for the Periyar National Park (a 16-minute drive from the resort) where you can meet royal tigers and majestic elephants, Thekaddy Lake (a 25-minute drive) where you can enjoy a boat ride while you take in the scenic beauty, and Kadathanadan Kalari Centre (a 15-minute drive) where you can witness Kerala’s traditional form of martial arts, ‘Kalaripayattu’, being practised.
