Rosewood Kauri Cliffs sits on 6,000 acres of pristine coastline in Matauri Bay, Northland. Perched above the Pacific Ocean, it offers sweeping views of Cape Brett and the Cavalli Islands. Nearby, Matauri Bay Beach is known for its golden sands and clear waters, while the Rainbow Warrior Memorial marks the site of the 1985 Greenpeace ship sinking. The hotel is located approximately a 35-minute drive from Bay of Islands (Kerikeri) Airport (KKE). Airport transfers are not included in your package, please plan accordingly.

7-Day Change of Mind ‘No Questions Asked’ Refund Guarantee: Things don’t always work out. Our 7-day Change of Mind Guarantee is there to help. Bookings (except for cruise bookings, flights and deposit fee, if applicable, which are subject to the cancellation terms of the relevant supplier) may be cancelled with a full refund provided that cancellation occurs strictly within 7 days from the date of purchase and provided that the cancellation is made no less than 14 days prior to the check-in date. Excludes flight and service fee, if applicable.

• Cancellations outside of the 7-Day Change of Mind period will not be provided, except as required by Australian Consumer Law, your local law or as otherwise provided for in the Fine Print.

Flexible Cancellation: You can cancel your booking for credit up until 21 days prior to the original check-in date. This can be done via self-service in your ‘My Escapes’ account. Your credit will be valid for 12 months from the date of cancellation. Credits are not transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash. Excludes service fee, if applicable.

Please note this does not apply to flights booked with us. Flight fulfilment is provided by the airline(s) selected at the time of finalising the booking. For your air travel, you are bound by the terms and conditions and fare rules of the selected airline(s).

Date Changes: If you need to amend your booking, you can self-service unlimited date changes in your ‘My Escapes’ account up until 21 days before your original check-in date. If you can’t find a suitable date, or still need further assistance, please contact our 24/7 customer service team. Subject to availability and surcharges.

• Daily semi-buffet breakfast at The Dining Room is served 7.30am–10.30am
• Nightly pre-dinner aperitifs and canapes are served in the guest lounge from 5pm.
• Nightly dinner at The Dining Room is served 6pm–10pm. Guests can choose a la carte or a three-course set menu.
• Spa Credit: The included credit must be used during your stay. Any unused credit will be forfeited and is not transferable or redeemable for cash. Credit can be used at The Spa only. No minimum spend applies.
• Golf Credit: The included credit must be used during your stay. Any unused credit will be forfeited and is not transferable or redeemable for cash. Credit can be used at Kauri Cliffs Golf Course retail store only. Credit can be used on green fees only, not on car hire or retail items. No minimum spend applies.
• Guests also receive an amenity gift on arrival.
• All golf inclusions can be used on the day of check-out.
• Children are aged 5 years and under.
• Unlimited golf rounds (select packages only): Enjoy one unlimited golf-day at Kauri Cliffs Golf Course per night stayed. Golf days may be used on any stay day, as well as either the arrival OR departure day. Caddies, cart hire, club rentals, and any other incidentals are not included. A 48‑hour cancellation notice applies.
• Additional rollaway bed is available for a surcharge should guests not want to share bedding. Charges apply as follows:
  • Child 2–5 years: NZ$287.50 per night
  • Guest 6+ years: NZ$856.75 per night
