Tipping and gratuities are not included in the package and are at your own discretion (as a guide, approx. CUC$5-10 per person, per day is the industry standard).
Arrival and departure transfers are only available on the first and last day of the tour. Any arrivals and departures outside of these days will need to make their own arrangements to/from the airport.
Travellers should have a basic level of physical fitness and mobility and must be able to negotiate uneven surfaces, climb stairs and board boats.
Travellers are advised to check with their local health professional at least 45 days prior to departure, as some vaccinations require 30 days or more to be effective. Proof of vaccination is not usually required unless you are coming from an infected area.
The package is valid for ONE PERSON aged 18 years or older (based on twin share). If you are travelling with another person you must purchase TWO PACKAGES, otherwise an additional single traveller surcharge will apply. Single travellers will get their own room throughout the tour.

DAY 1 – Havana Welcome to Havana! Arrive at the airport and transfer to your hotel. Tonight, meet your tour leader and the rest of your group, then enjoy a delicious group dinner at a local restaurant. Accommodation: NH Capri Hotel Meals: Dinner
DAY 2 – Havana Spend a full day exploring Old Havana with your guide. Start at the Templete, where Havana villa was founded in 1519, then continue to Plaza de Armas and the Squares of Old Havana. Ascend to the Camera Obscura and enjoy the beautiful 360-degree views of Old Havana. Head to ‘La Bodeguita del Medio’, the famous birthplace of the mojito. After a refreshing glass of this signature cocktail, try to find the autographs of Ernest Heminway, Fidel Castro, Nat King Cole and more on the walls of the bar, before departing on a tour of Modern Havana in an Old American Vintage Car. Stop for some excellent photo opportunities in Revolution Square before finishing up at Hotel Nacional de Cuba, where you can visit the ‘Hall of Fame’ to see some of the hotel’s previous guests of honour. DAY 3 – Havana Depart for the Vinales Valley, making a trip along the way to the Francisco Donatien Cigar Factory to learn how Havanan cigars are still made by hand. Continue to Robaina’s famous tobacco farm, a long-time producer for the country’s best crop, where you’ll learn more about tobacco production during a crop-to-cigar experience. Wrap things up with a farmstead lunch of fresh local produce before finally arriving at the valley where breathtaking views of Los Jazmines await. Visit the nearby cave-painting of Mogotes to learn more about Cuban prehistoric life, then enjoy a drink at a local restaurant before returning to Havana for the night. DAY 4 – Bay of Pigs/Cienfuegos Relax in the morning before travelling through the wetlands of Peninsula de Zapata - the largest and most important wetlands in the Caribbean - to the Bay of Pigs. Learn about the conflict between Latin America and the CIA-funded counter-revolutionary forces at a local museum, then the afternoon is at leisure. Snorkel in a cenote or along the Caribbean coast or grab some lunch. In the afternoon, travel to UNESCO-listed Cienfuegos city and pay visits to Marti Park, Terry Theatre, Alameda, Seaboard and the French style mansions set up by US settlers. This evening, enjoy dinner at a family-run restaurant. Accommodation: Hotel La Union Meals: Breakfast & Dinner
DAY 5 – Trinidad Explore Cienfuegos on your own in the morning, then depart for Trinidad. Visit Santa Ana, Major Square and Cantero Palace, then stop by for a drink at the Chanchanchara Bar before the guided tour continues. Visit the Handicraft Fair, the Santeria Cult House and the Fair, then take a break for lunch. Head on to the Sugar Mills Valley, learn more about sugar cane juice and visit the UNESCO-listed tower of Manaca Iznaga - rumored to either have been built as a bet for fame, to lock up the wife of Alejo Iznaga or to serve as a watchtower against fire and other threats. The rest of the day is at leisure for you to browse local textiles or explore more of this fascinating city. Accommodation: Iberostar Grand Hotel Trinidad Meals: Breakfast
DAY 6 – Trinidad Today is at your own pace. If you can't decide what to do, feel free to ask your leader for ideas. You could take in an optional Salsa class, hire a bike and ride around the city or simply choose to relax on a sunny beach. DAY 7 – Havana Say farewell to Trinidad and head on to Santa Clara City. Stop by Santa Clara’s Armoured Train Museum and the Memorial Monument and Mausoleum of Che Guevara, Cuba’s revolutionary hero. Gather with your group for a farewell lunch to celebrate the end of your Cuban journey, then return to Havana for some free time. Accommodation: NH Capri Hotel Havana Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
DAY 8 – Tour Ends Today your Cuba adventure comes to an end. Transfer to the airport for your onward flight. Meals: Breakfast
Tour Extension – Santiago De Cuba
DAY 8 – Santiago De Cuba Fly to Santiago de Cuba in the morning – the second-largest city in Cuba and home to both the Cuban Revolution and the country’s best music scene. On arrival, take a transfer to your hotel to drop off your luggage, then depart on a guided tour of the city. Start at Parque Cespedes, a bustling city square full of friendly locals and smiling buskers, then continue to the San Pedro Castle for scenic views of the nearby bay. Tonight, after dinner, head to the Casa de la Trova Santiago. Widely known as Santiago de Cuba’s biggest nightlife attraction, here you can enjoy a traditional Cuban ‘troubadour’ music show. DAY 9 – Santiago De Cuba Today is a free day to make your own discoveries in Santiago. You could explore one of the many museums, or simply enjoy the Afro-Caribbean culture woven in the music and people of this vibrant city. Accommodation: Hotel Imperial Meals: Breakfast
DAY 10 – Tour Ends Today your Cuba adventure comes to an end. Transfer to the airport for a return flight to Havana, where your tour ends on arrival. You may consider staying a few more days in the city, or arrange your flight for your onward journey home. Meals: Breakfast
