What You'll Love

The Resort – Award-winning eco resort

Located just a 50-minute scenic ferry ride (return ferry transfers are conveniently included in your package) from Hervey Bay and situated right by the coast on sensational Fraser Island, Kingfisher Bay Resort is one of Australia’s favourite holiday destinations and has won several Australian and Queensland Tourism Awards. Boasting three restaurants, four bars, four swimming pools, a spa, general store, tennis courts, watersports equipment hire and a day spa, you’ll never want to leave this paradise.

The Room – Spacious room with bushland views

Relax in a Resort Standard Room featuring beautiful natural bushland views, deluxe queen bed and king single bed, ensuite with bath and shower, TV, air-conditioning and a native timber deck to take in the bush views and fresh air and more. Or treat yourself to an indulgent upgrade and receive an in-room spa bath.

The Location – The world’s largest sand island

Fraser Island is the world's largest sand island and is home to the iconic 75 Mile Beach (one of TripAdvisor's Top 25 Aussie Beaches), lush rainforests and breathtaking lakes, making it a truly magical and unforgettable destination.

The Food – Your package includes daily buffet breakfasts

Start each day with a delicious full buffet breakfast, featuring a range of hot dishes, fresh fruit, cereal, tea, coffee and more. For a unique experience, you can’t go past the resort’s award-winning Australian bush tucker restaurant, Seabelle Restaurant where you can order off a menu created with fresh produce grown right on Fraser Island.

The Drinks – Complimentary bottle of local wine

Crack open your complimentary bottle of local wine (choose from the Fraser Island Sparkling Cuvee, Lake McKenzie Sauvignon Blanc or Fraser Island Dingo Cabernet Sauvignon) at Sunset Bar, the perfect place to take in views of mango-coloured sunsets over the sparkling ocean.

The Activities – AU$100 resort credit and unlimited ranger-guided walks and talks

There’s plenty to see and do on Fraser Island. Explore the natural surrounds with unlimited complimentary ranger-guided walks and talks. AU$50 of your resort credit is redeemable at the onsite day spa, so why not indulge in a little pampering with a relaxing hot stone massage, organic facial or spa pedi. The remainder of your credit can be used towards island experiences including archery, ‘bush tucker talk and taste’ or a full-day ranger-guided beauty spots tour of the island.

Perfect For – Couples and families

Forget Queensland's bustling mainland beach resorts, Fraser Island offers travellers a more natural, rare and beautiful holiday option just off the coast. Boasting breathtaking stretches of white sandy beaches (named some of the world's best by National Geographic), ancient rainforests, dune valleys, coloured sand cliffs and perched dune lakes that are perfect for a dip, it's no wonder Fraser Island is World Heritage-listed and one of Australia's most sought-after travel destinations.
