What You’ll Love…

The Hotel – Cocktails at Flaggerdoot included

A striking seven-metre-tall metal jackalope sculpture stands sentry outside the hotel and sets the tone for this unique property that - just liked its part jackrabbit, part antelope mythical namesake suggests - offers a playful fusion of art, design and countryside glamour.

The result of a AU$40-million-dollar development, Jackalope will wow you from start to finish. Begin your journey with an included welcome cocktail in the hotel's striking bar, Flaggerdoot, where curious concoctions include the ‘Lost in Tokyo’ with Zubrowka vodka, sake, seaweed and wasabi, and the ‘Jungle Bird’ with Goslings Black Seal Rum, Campari, lime and pineapple.

Your Room – Includes a daily replenished minibar

Your 38sqm Terrace Room comes complete with complimentary Wi-Fi, on-demand movies and a daily replenished minibar stocked with Strange Love sodas, Mornington Peninsula Pale Ale, Kaiju Cider, sparkling water, snacks, coffee and mixed teas. Rooms feature floor-to-ceiling windows and private terraces while king-sized beds and designer furnishings provide immersive indulgence and comfort. Rain showers, custom-made bath products and the option of deep-soak Japanese baths create a spa-like setting in your private oasis.

Vineyard Upgrade: For even more luxury, upgrade to a Vineyard Room and enjoy spectacular sunset views over Willow Creek Vineyard and the infinity pool from your private terrace.

The Food – Daily breakfast at Doot Doot Doot included

The hotel’s acclaimed restaurant, Doot Doot Doot, serves a sumptuous à la carte breakfast set underneath a glowing 10,000-globe chandelier. Standout dishes include the breakfast salad of pumpkin miso, chickpeas, charred greens, zaatar and smoked yoghurt; and a spanner crab omelette with shiitake chilli relish and chicken dashi.

Bonus: Guests staying in a Vineyard Room will receive a AU$50 credit per room to use towards Doot Doot Doot’s five-course degustation paired with cocktails or wines. Helmed by executive chef Guy Stanaway, this chef-hatted restaurant presents an ever-evolving five-course tasting menu drawing on seasonal offerings from the hotel's kitchen garden and select Mornington Peninsula producers.

See & Do – Not that you’ll want to leave the hotel…

Plunge into the hotel’s outdoor swimming pool, soak in its heated spa or hop over to the Jackalope’s cellar door, Rare Hare, for a wine tasting.

Beyond the hotel, Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula offers the perfect mix of coastal and country reverie. An array of celebrated cellar doors, restaurants, cheese factories and breweries dot the surrounding hills, while dramatic surf and sheltered bay beaches, natural hot springs, and national parks await discovery.

I was lucky enough to spend my birthday at Jackalope and also had the pleasure of dining at Rare Hare with family. My partner and I had a beautiful room overlooking the pool and grapevines. The room was awesome, a huge tub, treats to be enjoyed from the mini bar and a very comfy bed. I would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone.... especially for a special occasion!

Beautiful location set in the midst of a winery. Room was stylish and well appointed. My room had views over the pool and vineyard. Dinner at Doot Doot Doot the restaurant based at the Hotel was well worth a visit to enjoy the degustation menu. Pool was fabulous (heated) with spa so great to spend a lazy afternoon with a pool bar to enjoy a drink or two. Highly recommend and will be back!

We decided to have a treat with staying at Jackalope, having flown from the UK. The rooms very impressive with a large bathroom. ❤️ the complimentary free drinks in the room bar. Sitting on the pool deck and watching the sun set over the infinity pool was something special. Dinner at Doot Doot Doot was pleasant. Staff were attentive. Enjoyed their spanner crab omelette for breakfast.
