Begin and end your tour in the city that never sleeps. Known for its bustling streets, ever-growing art scene, variety of cuisines, some of the best bars in the world and never-ending street shopping, New York is often dubbed “the best city in the world,” with downtown Manhattan as the place to see and be seen. Stroll from the famed Flatiron building—once the tallest skyscraper in Manhattan—along Fifth Avenue to the Empire State Building and gawk at the gorgeous designer shops along the way; or join the locals for a lovely picnic in Central Park.

When your batteries need recharging, you can travel up the camera-ready region of Finger Lakes en route to Niagara Falls. A regular on bucket lists, you can view Horseshoe Falls from famous Table Rock, and head to the top of Skylon Tower.

Some mock the USA for its lack of history, but there’s more than enough here to satisfy any academic. You can explore lands unchanged since the 1850's in the Amish homeland of the Pennsylvania Dutch; and lands unchanged for centuries as you travel along Susquehanna River in the Appalachian Mountains. Or step back in time at Gettysburg Civil War National Battleground.

The modern buzz of Washington D.C. will be at your doorstep for two nights where you’ll enjoy a city tour of its best highlights. See the U.S. Capitol Building, JFK Memorial, Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial and of course, the White House. In your downtime, head to the rooftop bar at the W Washington D.C. Hotel, where you can enjoy a different, yet just as fantastic, view of the White House. Word has it, this stylish rooftop is under constant surveillance due to its arguably-compromising view.

You’ll head to the birthplace of American liberty in Philadelphia where you can try the world-famous Philly cheesesteak. Do the Rocky run up the steps to Liberty Bell and tick Independence Hall— where the Declaration of Independence was adopted on July 4—off your bucket list.

The ‘7 day change of mind guarantee’ does not apply for Tour bookings. Due to the high demand and limited departures any cancellation / refund requests must be made within 48 hours of purchase. Otherwise, the standard Refund Policy applies.

The package is valid for ONE PERSON (based on twin share) aged 12 years and over. If you are travelling with another person you must purchase TWO PACKAGES, otherwise, an additional single traveller surcharge will apply. Single travellers will get their own room throughout the tour.

Single Traveller Surcharge: If travelling alone a single supplement of AU$1,500 per person applies, payable directly to the tour provider.

Flights: Flights included are for departures from Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane. Departures from Adelaide, Hobart and Canberra are available at a surcharge of AU$295pp. Departures from Perth are available at a surcharge of AU$550pp, payable directly to the tour provider.

Baggage allowance: 23kg check baggage and 7kg carry-on.

Airfares are non-refundable and airline terms, conditions and amendment fees apply.

Child Policy: Children aged 2-11 years can be taken on this tour at 10% off the adult package price. Children under two years are not permitted. Children aged 12 years and over are considered adults and must purchase a full-price package. Please book child fares directly with the tour provider.

Maximum tour size is 44 people.

Can I change my check in date post purchase: Once you have purchased your package and received confirmation your dates cannot be changed without contacting the tour company directly. This decision is strictly at the discretion of the tour company and subject to availability, so please ensure you have selected your intended travel dates. You will be asked to pay a AU$150 per person change fee and any applicable additional airfare to change your tour dates. Exact amounts are assessed at time of date change

Visa Requirement: Please note a USA ESTA Visa waiver is a strict requirement if travelling on an Australian passport. This is not included in your package and must be organised independently. Luxury Escapes and the tour operator can accept no responsibility for your entry into the USA. The USA government via their visa waiver program vet and approve applicants to the USA.

Dining inclusions do not include beverages (unless otherwise stated) and menu options are subject to change.
