Single Traveller Options are available for a surcharge of AUD$999 (approx. NZD$1,120) per person for both the high and low season packages, payable direct to the tour provider at time of reservation

Flight Information: The tour includes an international economy class flight from Melbourne or Sydney to Beijing, and an international economy class flight from Hong Kong to Melbourne or Sydney. A surcharge of AUD$300 (approx. NZD$336) per person applies for departures from Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide. Carriers include China Southern, China Eastern, Air China, Sichuan Airline, Qantas and Cathay Pacific or similar carriers

Tour Group Capacity: Tours operate with a minimum of 10 people, and a maximum of between 25 and 35 people

Maximum Room Capacity: The maximum room capacity throughout the tour is three people

Please note, all 2017 departure dates include 18 breakfasts, 15 lunches and 11 dinners

Yangtze River Cruise Upgrade: Guests can upgrade to a Junior Suite on board the Sinorama Gold8 for a surcharge of AUD$300 (approx. NZD$336) per person, payable direct to the tour operator

All accommodation is subject to availability. If a desired hotel is not available, alternate accommodation of a similar standard will be provided. Connecting rooms are available for select hotels and are subject to availability, please confirm with the tour provider at the time of booking

Booking Changes including but not limited to name changes, ticket transfers or changes to departure or return dates will incur a surcharge before the air ticket has been issued and is subject to airline availability. Members may make a maximum of one change, please contact the tour provider directly for more information

Tours cannot be rescheduled after the tour provider issues air ticket. Please note all seats are subject to availability. Tour will be confirmed after voucher has been redeemed with the tour provider at time of booking

Arrive at the airport of Beijing, welcomed by your tour guide and transfer to hotel. Refresh and relax at leisure.

After breakfast, visit the Tiananmen Square, then enter the imperial–red walls of the ornate Forbidden City, the emperor’s palace – off limits to commoners for centuries. You will also visit the Temple of Heaven. Think of the processions of incense–bearing priest at the Temple of Heaven, where the emperor went to humble himself in prayer to guarantee realm’s good harvest.

Excursion: Embark on smaller boats to enjoy a closer encounter of the beauty of the Three Gorges. Continue to Gorge Wu and Gorge Qutang.

Excursion: Shibaozhai, literally “Precious Stone Fortress” is a hill along the bank of the Yangtze River. On the river side of the hill is a red pavilion of nine floors which leans against the side of the hill providing a walkway to the temple at the top of the hill. Captain’s Farewell Dinner.

Day Twelve

Chongqing – Shanghai (Flight) – Suzhou (Coach)

Disembark in Chongqing. Transfer to airport and fly to Shanghai and then transfer to Suzhou by coach.
