Changes to Bookings

7 days notice is required to change a booking you have made

• This tour is not recommended for children aged 0–8 years old
• Infants aged 0–4 years are free of charge, but must be carried in a backpack
• This tour involves an 11km return walk, which requires a moderate level of fitness. There are some areas where terrain is rocky or rough underfoot and wet weather may make these conditions more challenging
• Tours operate in most weather conditions. Please prepare accordingly
• Maximum group size is 12 people with one Trips & Tramps guide. More than one trip may be operating on the day
• Visitors travelling from Te Anau should allow at least 2.5 hours to travel to Milford Sound. Please note there is no mobile phone coverage once leaving Te Anau
• Multiple car parking options are available at Milford Sound. The main car park is located at the visitor centre. Prices start from NZ$20 and payment is by credit card only. Free parking is available on Deepwater Basin Road, a 30-minute walk from the visitor terminal.
• Children must be supervised by adults at all times

• Fiordland Trips & Tramps may postpone, cancel, interrupt or stop this tour due to adverse weather, health and safety concerns or any causes beyond their reasonable control. In this event, part refund may be granted
• Guides reserve the right to amend the trip or a client’s participation at any time if they believe safety or the safety of others may be compromised or if the client is not adequately prepared
